My old 6S burner, scratched, battered, tiny screen, rubbish camera, 65% battery health, 4 x daily charges, gets hotter than the sun. It’s like an ancient family dog on its last legs, should be quietly put down but too lovable!

Is it Friday yet? I need my 13!!

John Lewis should have them online tomorrow, usually from 8am .. they will let you pick up from them or Waitrose (if you wait a day presumably)
Last year I got a phone quickly from AO .. I was shocked they had them and I phoned to make sure what it said on the site was correct (it was)

Ordered 13 pro max 256GB Graphite from the apple website on 18th September at 8 pm. Shipping is showing 19 Oct - 26 Oct by Express Delivery
However the money still hasn't left my account, is this normal?

Yes definitely. I was supposed to be 3 weeks after launch year before last and it was reduced to about a week in the end. They quite often manage to get things out before the date they state.

don't get me started on this - a despicable practice that raises prices for everyone else & further exacerbates the environmental impact too. what a waste of the time of dozens of people touching each phone all the way down the chain.

absolutely boils my piss that people (and self-proclaimed 'fans' at that) would buy one intentionally to cover a gap, purely to capture a better trade-in price.

marginally worse than the chronically indecisive who order a selection, rather than waiting to go to a store to choose.

Weirdly enough the phone name of yours is glitched . Also I noticed mines turned bold in the “expected delivery date” part

Did anybody order through Mobile Phones Direct?

My order for 128GB Sierra Blue is still pending as a pre-order with no updates since the confirmation email.

I ordered on day one. I phoned customer services for an update and was told there has been a shipping delay until tomorrow. And yet their website still has the Sierra Blue model available for next day delivery if you order by 8pm tonight.

Not sure why they are still promising next day delivery if my day one order is apparently not arriving tomorrow.

Very frustrating!
 
I’ve had the DPD tracking from the place I ordered my iPhone. However it’s saying I need to show the driver photo ID. Problem is I won’t be in (unless I can select a late afternoon slot once it lets me). There will be someone in the house. Should I leave my ID for them to show them? It’s a really annoying (but understandable) requirement.
