So what happens to this thread once we all get our phones? Does it slowly die by like mid next week? Does it live on for the those waiting for delivery later in October etc ? Do people who buy the phone later on in the year get to post here? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.
This isn't going to help you all that much, but clicking on that link doesn't take you straight to the menu to choose your 1hr time slot. It's in a menu somewhere on that screen where you can choose more actions.
I clicked on the link this morning, couldn't find it, gave up. Went back about half an hour ago, found it, and picked 11am, which is the earliest time slot usually on offer to me, and it's rare the driver makes it to me earlier than 2pm usually, so very pleased.
Excited for tomorrow.

Do not entrust your launch day iPhones (or anything else for that matter) to Currys/PCW.

Confirmation for my partner’s Sierra Blue Pro just came through, now she’s happy and excited too 😄
It’ll live on for those with later deliveries but I imagine it’ll be a bit of a ghost town long before the middle of next week!

Rang EE, said pro max's will not be delivered tomorrow now (if not already allocated) regardless of size, said my order will be within 14 days.
Explained they had some issues (couldn't say what) and high demand blah blah
Also said I can try my luck in store to change over my plan and get it there and then if available.

I’m waiting on Vodafone too and haven’t had anything yet. They’re saying on Twitter that they “usually dispatch in the evening or overnight”…
We all be back next year plus have the watch to look forward toofinally good to see updates for those collecting tomorrow! 24 hours of life left in this thread
I got my iPhone through Vodafone last year and I got my dispatch email about 22:30 so don’t worry!

Can anyone confirm, if I set up phone as new (not from backup) does everything that syncs to iCloud still download back onto the new phone? So photos, messages, what’s app etc? I think the answer is yes but just want to check as I want to start fresh with the new phone from a settings and apps perspective but not lose absolutely everything
This is true. Usually around 10pm onwards. You’ll likely get the DPD notification before Vodafone tell you anything
Yep, after tomorrow I shall be switching to the watch forums in readiness for the Apple Watch launch. I shall miss this thread. I always miss the pre-order thread after launch day 😭
