The Armorite screen protector is amazing. Time will tell how it holds up but so far it looks like there's absolutely nothing on the phone

I’ve got the soft silicon for my 11 and it’s still white. I’ve ordered the same for the 13. I’ve become quite a fan of esr stuff recently!

Ha! I almost got the Spigen but it was everybody on here vouching for the ESR that made me opt for that instead. THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE

My transfer is from my old iPhone to the new is not showing any time estimate left. The new phone seems to have everything moved over would it be okay to cancel the transfer on the old phone? And not lose anything on the new one? As old phone seems to be stuck on the transfer screen. I can’t wait around as need to wipe it and sell it.

I wouldn't cancel it if it's not showing as complete. You don't know what it's still doing in the backgroumd.

Received my parcel about an hour ago. Smooth setup from iCloud, apart from the App Library classifying all my third party apps in the other folder. Pretty thrilled with this device since it’s my first Max. Good luck to everyone waiting for their doorbell to go off!

Anyone know if its necessary both phone to be on the same iOS when doing the phone to phone transfer ?

My 12 is on iOS 14.8 but the new 13 Pro will be on iOS 15, I guess it wont make much difference...?!

Picked mine up here in Bath at 8am on the dot. All good in the Apple Store! Had to go for a covid booster jab straight after, so only just got everything setup! Having gone from Pro to Pro Max, going back to the Pro feels like a toy after using the Max for an hour!

Can anyone offer any feedback on the silicone case - does it feel linty at all (the generally pick up loads!) and what's the grip like (is it slippery in the hand) ?

I really like them! I mostly used Apple Silicone cases throughout the past year with the 12 Pro Max. I'm a bit of a case fanatic and while I bought leather it never felt 'nice' plus the natural aging (not patina) looked really bad for people and I rarely used the ones I bought... also as leather is absorbant it never I was more fearful it would pick up grease.

I also have a preference for 'proper' magsafe over 'magsafe compaitble' the otterbox magsafe were 'official' but I didn't feel the magnets were right and I still haven't established if they have the orientation magnet for things like the wallet.

So after buying near enough 15 cases over the past year I always came back to Apple Silicone with the seasonal colours giving me a change.

Lighter colours are better for resisting fingerprints and I've never found lint to be a problem, it may pick up a bit when you first get one, but it's never been an issue after a day or two. Unless you have a constant stream of new clothes I'm not sure how anyone generates an amount of lint that is problematic on a daily basis!

Oh, and I think grippyness is ideal, could be problematic if you like skinny jeans but in and out of pockets I've been happy, I do like the feel in-hand.
