Can’t you geo-fence some alerts so when she gets close to the home you get notified!

I had that on for Mercedes app.

Whenever she switched on and off the ignition. And when she left her work zone and enter home zone lol. I used to get notification.

Then she clocked me doing that and insisted i download the app on her iPhone too lol.

Can you setup geo fencing with Find My app?

So DPD have finally delivered! So happy! Instantly noticed the 120hz screen.

Well, seeing that we're all posting our screens, I'll repost mine from my iPhone 13 Pro:

I've had this layout all throughout my iPhone 12 and did this when iOS 14 allowed us to use custom icons and themes - this took an absolute age to do this hence why I wouldn't do it all over again!!!

But, and I know this isn't a thread for iPads, I did do this on my 2020 iPad Air yesterday:

😎
That’s a great way to stop anyone else using your iPad.

“Faster Payments” (which is what would be used here), cannot be stopped or reversed, they are 100% safe.

Risk arrives when someone says they will pay cash in, but deposits a cheque.

You can see the amount in your account (even though it’s uncleared) so you send item off, only for cheque to bounce.

A bank to bank transfer is 100% safe.
Depending on your bank it should show up as an uncleared payment; I think this is how it appears on the Lloyds website & app, though it's been yonks since I've paid in a cheque. That way you can see when it's cleared and you have the actual funds with no backsies.

I decided to go to CPW and not Argos, which was slightly lower but I know it's gone through, and don't need to pay for special delivery and all that. I've also tried to price match to o2recycle which was 25p more, so if they pay me another £10.25 then even better! (I expect they will find a reason not to pay it though)

The in-store windows XP system is terribly slow!

Haha especially when they then plug it in to scan it - which they do sometimes.

For those of you on EE who switched to esims, just check your next bill - they'd charged me £1.50 for a regular sim + 50p for the esim.

I called and billing sorted it, but the lady said they'd had other people report this too.

Got my £740 from music magpie today for 12PM. Sent last Tuesday and received today (Monday), guess they must of had a back log. Glad it went through ok.

Oh and Finally Lloyds have added sms verification for adding cards to Apple Pay. No more calling then up every time I’d swap phone lol

Good job.
I sent mine off to Argos and Royal Mail confirmed it was received and signed for around 8am today. I haven’t heard anything from them yet, do I only hear when they have assessed the device?

Yes. Once they’ve inspected it then you’ll hear something.

Need to send my device by tomorrow.

£600 to MM or £660 to likewize (Argos trade in). - 12 pro 256GB

Do we have anyone that has been paid from Argos?

I’ve used their trade in service a couple months ago (Apple Watch 4) and got the money into my account the following week (as they stated). No issues whatsoever

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Rebuy this year for selling their phone to. I know a number of people including myself used them last year to sell our iPhone 11’s. They send a courier over to pick up your phone.

Last year I got the like new value for my 11 Pro Max. Their values for the 512GB 12 Pro Max is £738 for like new and £600 for very good condition. If I can’t sell mine privately I might take a chance with them and see if I can get the like new value which I would be happy with.

Went to the Apple store in meadowhall today and picked up my Golden Brown Leather case

Really happy with it, I was not sure of either this one or the Wisteria, I actually walked away with the Wysteria one but as I was holding it, it didn’t really right, a bit too lavender IMO, so I went back and changed it

Has anyone had problems reactivating their data on Apple Watch? I’m with Vodafone and can’t for the life of me get it working!

…..or any updates on Argos, for those who posted their phones off?

Just had an update from Argos/Likewize. They have received and assess my phone and agreed to pay the full value of £601.

The phone was delivered this morning and they provided no update until just now. They never sent any emails. But they did pay up the value of the quote.

They just sent me an email confirming they will issue a payment for the assessed value of £601.
