Has anyone had problems reactivating their data on Apple Watch? I’m with Vodafone and can’t for the life of me get it working!

“Faster Payments” (which is what would be used here), cannot be stopped or reversed, they are 100% safe.

Risk arrives when someone says they will pay cash in, but deposits a cheque.

You can see the amount in your account (even though it’s uncleared) so you send item off, only for cheque to bounce.

A bank to bank transfer is 100% safe.

Please dont tell people it’s 100% safe. They can and will be reversed if the person claims their online banking was hacked regardless of fault. Trust me I used to work in a banks fraud dept. i appreciate there is a pop up on most banking apps now that asks for the purpose of the payment, but ultimately if you are a fraudster you are going to click ’yes’ aren’t you!

I sent mine off to Argos and Royal Mail confirmed it was received and signed for around 8am today. I haven’t heard anything from them yet, do I only hear when they have assessed the device?

Yes. They don’t seem to confirm when they’ve received it.

They received mine Friday and I heard today 👍

My iPhone was delivered to Argos trade in this morning at 7:45 am and they have confirmed the payment value on the same day. No 3-5 day wait for me.

Got the screen protector on, slightly off centre to the left as I can see the edge on the right hand side, wrecked the first one trying to fix it, second one did the same and just decided to live with it as it's only ever so slightly and there's no bubbles or anything under the glass. Guessing Spigen's Alignmaster isn't so masterful on the guide!

Also picked up Belkin's 3 in 1 MagSafe charger, pricey but a nice bit of kit

I'm waiting for the new Airpods to launch, then I'm buying them and the Belkin 3 in 1. I do like the look of that.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Rebuy this year for selling their phone to. I know a number of people including myself used them last year to sell our iPhone 11’s. They send a courier over to pick up your phone.

Last year I got the like new value for my 11 Pro Max. Their values for the 512GB 12 Pro Max is £738 for like new and £600 for very good condition. If I can’t sell mine privately I might take a chance with them and see if I can get the like new value which I would be happy with.

Just checked with Rebuy - they’re offering pretty much the same rates as Music Magpie give or take a couple of quid.

I've asked this earlier today, someone said to use the label that they've sent us, but ask to be special delivery. I also have the impression that this would generate a new label. I am not sure. I'll add inside my details and order number...

If you use the label they have sent (which is a 48 hr tracked delivery label), how can you ask the Post Office to send it via Special Delivery? That WOULD generate a new label……?

I put my 12 on FB MarketPlace this morning - received loads of initial interest but ALL turned out to be time wasters so no definitive sale in place as of yet……

I sent mine to Argos via special delivery, the Post Office did print off a new label and stuck it over the top of the returns label, leaving the bar code at the bottom visible.

I spoke to Argos and they can match up the device via the IMEI number as well.
