So do people generally use widgets on the Home Screen? Can’t seem to find a layout that works? Would love to see what people have done with theirs!
Currently a work in progress. But this is what it looks like right now. The one on the bottom of the second page is a stack with Apple TV and Spotify. I also have Screen Time, Sky Sports, and The Guardian to the left of the home screen (forget what that area is called).

13 pro max just arrived

any advantage in restoring from an iTunes encrypted backup vs phone to phone (quick start)?

I want as much data and passwords and settings to move across. I have lots of emails and banking apps too

...yea, I'm now wondering if I should just take the £100 hit and send mine to MM (£411 which expires in 9 days) vs Argos (£519) if I don't make a sale on FB!!

🤔

Honestly I would leave MM and Argos and continue with a private sale.......those prices seem too low now (for comparison, sent my 11 PM to MM for £500 just a week ago!)

...some guy just offered me cash - when I then sent him a photo of the Bank of England notes in current circluation, he's gone strangely quiet!!!!!

😁

These 2 links are very helpful actually:

there's only two variables for the trade-in firms; the size of the pile of incoming stuff (out of their control) and the number of 'Engineers' processing them (within their control).

I expect they only get an occasional surge around a big launch, Christmas, Black Friday etc so it's not really worth staffing-up to peak levels when the staff aren't needed the rest of the time. Surely better to offer people overtime for a few late nights / weekends whilst they're catching up - a week turnaround isn't a problem, expectations are out of control!

..hmm - seems that you are indeed correct as also just asked my bank on twitter.

Perhaps PayPal is the way to go then as the buyer only needs your email address to pay.
“Faster Payments” (which is what would be used here), cannot be stopped or reversed, they are 100% safe.

Risk arrives when someone says they will pay cash in, but deposits a cheque.

You can see the amount in your account (even though it’s uncleared) so you send item off, only for cheque to bounce.

A bank to bank transfer is 100% safe.

wondered why none of the apple stores got any stock today. fingers crossed for tomorrow
