Pretty much the same TBH.
I only ever use CarPlay for streaming music and for calls or responding to messages with Siri.
Everything else, including navigation etc, I use the car inbuilt system for as it all comes up on the HUD in the windscreen, although I believe Apple maps is now compatible with this also.....
iOS I found very reliable with wireless CarPlay - no issues with iOS15 yet, but hopefully it will be just as reliable

Thanks for that it’s appreciated the only thing I would find with having a bmw is the indicators never seem to work 😉

Mine must be the fourth or fifth 12 to arrive at Argos from this thread today then - delivered 0752AM, so let's see who gets to the top of the pile first. Expecting £660 back for an (immaculate) Pacific Blue 12 Pro 256 instead of £490 from Apple.

I think I *maybe* could've got £750-800 on a good day via eBay, less £100 fees & £8 postage so it's well worth c.£30 hit to take most of the hassle & anxiety out of it.

Didn't mention it before, but used the Argos pre-paid label & didn't go Special Delivery

Erm… I used the 48hr tracked service as well. I was debating to go special delivery but I never. It got there on time and in one piece so it turned out just fine.

I can’t help thinking that using really fast charging regularly has a negative impact on battery health. I hope that I’m wrong.

My 12 Pro Max battery health after just 10 months dropped to 88%. I wasn’t happy with that.

Good news! I think I may be able to secure an iPhone 13 so anyone has any suggestions for ebay price for my iphone 12 pro graphite 256gb immaculate condition (no scratch or dent. always been in case and screen protector since day 1). Warranty finishes end of oct. Will sell when fees are less on ebay. MM and argos are giving ridiculous prices for pro phones. Much appreciated.

Fortunately I managed to persuade Apple to replace it because of a different issue. I’ve handed the phone on to my son so I’m happy about the replacement.

Received payment in my account from Argos trade in this afternoon. So timeline for me was:
- posted special delivery on Saturday
- confirmation email that they would pay the full amount yesterday
- payment today.

so for me, completely happy with the service and thanks to whoever it was who suggested it!

I just got a mail saying it's been shipped (real)

I checked the tracking and it says it was delivered Fri 05 Feb 2021..I presume this is a DPD error as 'Apple Time Portal' isn't coming out until the iPhone 84s

Anyway, fingers crossed for tomorrow!

How many people here are buying from EE? I'm looking to switch to them from Vodafone and their website states next day despatch to store, but I'm sure I've seen posts about EE deliveries being delayed by weeks.
