I phoned Barclays today and my iPhone 12 Pro iUP that I paid in full yesterday is now showing as settled. Also my AppleCare+ refund which Apple processed yesterday is also showing as a credit balance with Barclays and is now being paid back to my bank account. All very smooth and easy.

Which do you prefer and why?
The pro max is the best for me. I’ve always had pro max phones until last year when I decided to try a blue iPhone 12. Coped with it for a year but the size and lack of tele lens annoyed me after a while. Went for the pro 13 as I convinced myself I didn’t wanna go bigger but after a week I realised I should have just stuck with what I know works for me. Also, I didn’t like the silver band on the 13 pro being visible from the front and I found it too distracting so I revisited the apple store yesterday on the way back from a week in wales and decided the sierra blue was the one for me and luckily managed to snap one up quick from John Lewis (plus I had £150 in JL vouchers so it’s cost me the same upfront.

I was really lucky. Having decided to upgrade my iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB, I opted for an iPhone 13 Pro. I tried all the usual websites but they were all showing late October, early November deliveries. I finally tried Currys/PC World - and they had an iPhone 13 Pro (256GB) Graphite in stock!. Bought outright - ordered on Thursday and delivered yesterday by DPD! Checked the Currys website today and they are out of stock again. I was surprised at the only slight difference in size between the 11 Pro Max and the 13 Pro.

My thoughts exactly. I was wanting to get an eSIM for my iPad Pro, and then I thought tO myself “why exactly?”. Just stick to the normal SIM.
I’m on Vodafone and I think I’m going to move to an eSIM when I get back and finally get my hands on my 12PM.

Just because I can I guess… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well… I got the two shocks this morning.
1. Opened my phone to read any new emails only to find Apple had released my iphone 13 Pro Max last night at 23:30pm to DPD for delivery Monday 4th (4-11Oct was the schedule).
2. So there I was happy as Larry that my new phone would be with me Monday when BANG…. Another email only this time from DPD “your parcel will be delivered this morning”!!!!!

True…. It went from being released last night at 23:30pm to arriving at my door (in the countryside) at 10:20am.

I talked with the DPD driver and he said “You are not the first person who has had a bit of a shock this morning”.
👍

I’ve had the Plus or Max sized phones ever since Apple introduced them with the 6 Plus and I haven’t looked back. Granted they can be cumbersome and heavy but for me the pros outweigh the cons. I’m willing to put up with cumbersomeness and the extra weight as the larger screen size and better battery is more important to me. 😃👍

Totally agree with that. The battery on this thing is huge and I’m noticing already. I Cba with battery packs etc so anything that keeps me away from those is a good thing!

You should have checked your DPD app last night to avoid all the happiness that Shock caused you this morning 😁
