Anyone moved to esim on Vodafone? New iPhone arriving later but my current sim has been in use for the last 6 years.

Personally, keep the sim you’ve got. E-Sim is great until you need to swap it, or you sell or trade in the device or get a warranty replacement from Apple etc.

There are no real benefits from them IMO.

So, I did CPW a disservice because 2 hours ago this bad boy SB 13P 256Gb arrived. Ordered yesterday with an ETA of 5th Oct that then became vague. Hence I ordered a 512Gb from JL that arrives tomorrow morning.

After some research and a bit of thinking today, I reckon I'll return the 512Gb and keep the 256Gb and buy AC+ monthly to give full peace of mind re dealing direct with Apple as opposed to CPW. Still, I'm going to hold off from even touching this one until tomorrow at the earliest.

Good luck to those of you waiting for drops to happen tomorrow. IMG_9901.jpg

Congrats, I ordered the iPhone 13 PM Max from CPW and they said it will come on 2nd Nov. Hopefully it comes earlier. P.S did you get it on Vodafone/ID Mobile. Is the phone unlocked?

Had esim a few months back, transfer from plastic to esim took 3-4 hours. Then last week I had to swap from esim to esim due to new iPhone, it took me 2 minutes through Vodafone app.

Good experience, but not sure if I would use if I was not in need of dual sim.

Ta. No, I bought the phone outright because I fancy going SIM only for a while, probably starting with Voxi or EE Flex.

My thoughts exactly. I was wanting to get an eSIM for my iPad Pro, and then I thought tO myself “why exactly?”. Just stick to the normal SIM.

soooo, looking at the long shipping delays all because I wanted my payments to come on the first of the month, and the website is saying nothing for pick-up in Birmingham.... I'm spending my term wondering about the little things.

Like - if you pay in instalments and choose AppleCare+ that is included with the Barclays instalments. But some of you have showed phone screens inviting you to take out Applecare+ on the phone? is that a regular instalment like a subscription?

Yes you can pay for AppleCare+ monthly, works out a bit more but you can cancel at anytime and it’s a lot less to shell out initially. They’ve also added the theft and loss option this year as well which is nice, as they’ve had this in America for years.
