Hope everyone is still loving their iPhones.

Glad the “unlock with watch” bug has been fixed. Still got other fresh issues with HomeKit that haven’t been resolved though…

Here’s a photo of my happy little chappy.

...does true edge to edge even exist though ?

The protectors will generally end around 1-3 mm from the edge of the phone anyway and even if you did have a full 100% edge to edge protector, installing a case would then touch the protector and cause bubbling (I think that's probably why protectors are not true edge to edge so that they work with most cases).

We need to make our own screen protectors that are a hair thinner at the very edge - enough to snug under the lip of most cases.......then we sell them and take over Apple?

Ive experienced my first problem of my 13 PM ownership.

I have a thin, clear Torras case on my phone and it won’t attach to my Belkin MagSafe car holder. 😱

I’ve had to take the case off to use it and will decide what to do later.

Brilliant! Buy lots of Pro Max protectors and trim them to size for the Mini, iPhone and Pro... I'll get my craft knife out o_O

I have a wireless car mount. Been working perfectly with the xs max. It’s one where you press a button and it opens and closes around the edge of phone. With the 13 PM it just keeps opening on its own meaning my phone falls out. Not sure if it’s the weight of the phone or the mount is on its way out ( only couple of months old).
Ordered the Spigen OneTap mount and had to buy a MagSafe case. I read somewhere that even with a thin case they don’t really work. Now having read on here of someone with a 13pm , MagSafe case and Spigen onetap I’m wondering if it will be ok.

I was just looking at the Spigen OneTap as well......although I don't want the charging cable permanently attached - Im just after the holder ideally, with a port to add a charging cable as and when I need to.....

I have a Mous MagSafe car vent mount arriving today - likely the last of my 13 spends, unless I buy a rhinoshield camo case too ...

Factory sat-nav in my car, but Mrs doesn't in hers & we also use in holiday hire cars for nav & music. With the new Max being so heavy I thought I'd try something beefier & this one has real claws to grab onto the vent (rather than silicone push-fit). Will let you know how I get on.

It’s because it’s not edge to edge. I might order the Torras ones as they are edge to edge and this dust is driving me mad
Torras edge to edge screen protector is the best in my opinion. Beats ESR and Spigen and I have used Torras on my last two Pro Max iPhones. I actually sold my 12 Pro Max with the original Torras screen protector still on 10 months down the line of applying it and it was still as good as the day, unmarked as the day I applied it. You can barely tell it's there and visually and also when sliding your fingers over it. The only screen protector I will now use.

Tricky as the protector is on my iPhone which is also my camera. It is also all but invisible to the eye. Trust me, it's a very good screen protector and I will stick with the brand for all future iPhone upgrades as so pleased with it's quality (I also had one on my iPhone 12 Pro Max):

I’m using a slgen glass screen protector and it has a gap round the edge for case compatibility. But it doesn’t really seem to gather dust. I thought it would but thankfully not so far

What case are you using?

Is the protector case friendly?
