Are people feeling that the Armorite screen protector is the one to have, over the standard ESR one?
I agree with the others. I had the standard ESR glass screen protector on my 12 Pro Max and have the Armorite on my 13 Pro Max. I do think the Armorite seems and feels better. I’m happy with it. Hopefully it’s as strong as they say it is but hopefully I don’t have to test it out. LOL 😂

Tricky as the protector is on my iPhone which is also my camera. It is also all but invisible to the eye. Trust me, it's a very good screen protector and I will stick with the brand for all future iPhone upgrades as so pleased with it's quality (I also had one on my iPhone 12 Pro Max):

...that looks 100% the same as the ESR Amorite protector!!!

What case are you using?

Is the protector case friendly?
I have this one - had one on my previous iPhone 12 Pro Max and was very happy with it so got the iPhone 13 Pro Max equivalent. Works fine with the Torras screen protector:

I also have a weird thing going on, on my 13 Pro (iOS 15).....

When a take a photo via the camera, there is no audible camera sound as it takes the photo ?

I DO get the camera sound when taking a screenshot though, just not when I open the Camera app and take a photo...??

EDIT : Resolved (didn't realise that by having 'Live Photo' switched ON (which I do!), it mutes the camera shutter!!!).

Possibly could be off the same production line and just different packaging, marketing and applicator? However, I guess the shape is pretty fixed so could also easily be different? I did try the Spigen one on the iPhone 13 Pro Max but it didn't feel (or apply) as well as the Torras. Have used ESR on my iPad which, due to size of area to be covered is a tricky application and that works well. Due to the the Torras being on my previous iPhone 12 for 10/11 months and no discernible marks on it and no peeling on the edges and also the feel of it I highly rate it.

To be honest it doesn’t look any different then the ESR ones. They’re probably even made in the same factory in China. 🤔

Could certainly well be the case but also there isn't really anywhere to go in terms of the design / shape of a full coverage screen protector?

The gap all around seems less than ESR but i can still see in some pics dust gathered around the edges. Pics captured via Amazon reviews.
Dust around the edges, not something I have ever noticed but, TBH, also never worried about. I guess as mine is in a case I might not notice any dust if there is any but also I think MacRumour forum members can sometimes veer on the side of a bit too obsessive about these sort of things?

I have a Mous MagSafe car vent mount arriving today - likely the last of my 13 spends, unless I buy a rhinoshield camo case too ...

Factory sat-nav in my car, but Mrs doesn't in hers & we also use in holiday hire cars for nav & music. With the new Max being so heavy I thought I'd try something beefier & this one has real claws to grab onto the vent (rather than silicone push-fit). Will let you know how I get on.

as hoped it's very strong; both gripping the vent and the magnets to my phone (mine is a 13 Pro Max in an Apple leather case).

I don't think it's official MagSafe, so it doesn't do the display / sound, but it's rock solid & I can't see it falling off either vent or phone itself.

....no funds from Argos received yet - wonder if they process payment at the end of the day?

🤔
...and as if by magic - the same hour I post this, they send my payment!!!!!

£519 RECIEVED so just called Barclays and paid off the balance of my iPhone 12 finance agreement (£459)............!!!!!

Definitely the way forward for next year - just got to get in there quicker with MM for a better deal.

Im just perplexed on this level of worry over some perceived idea of dust. As any screen protector will sit proud of the actual screen then there will be a very slight ridge which, in all reasonableness, may act as a area where dust may sit. Is it cause for concern? Not in my opinion. Have I ever noticed it? Not on my iPhone 12 or 13 Pro Max phones (Both using a Casekoo case). Should people just enjoy their phones and not get bogged down by the minutest of things? I guess that's a personal choice.

My Pro was due for delivery from Carphone Warehouse tomorrow but have had an email to say now delayed until the 12th October. Very frustrating.
I ordered a SB regular 13 Pro this morning when I saw it was in stock and available for delivery tomorrow morning on the CPW website.

Just got an email with order accepted for "preorder" which will be dispatched as soon as the item is received in the warehouse! Huh?

They have even taken the payment so I was thinking my order is on track. There is no indication now when I can expect my order.

Anyone got any ideas?

PS. As I write this the SB is out of stock and the Gold is in stock.

Think it is more just annoyance than worry?

Moving away from screen protectors now that is all done and dusted.

Whose ordered more cases?

Recently my eyes keep seeing green green and more green everywhere lol

But the physics surely dictate that as all protectors sit proud of the screen then a ridge is created which will, I guess, act as a place where dust may accumulate? Blast of compressed air will likely sort it out or maybe just don't get annoyed by it. I truly have never noticed it and, even if I would have, would never thought to derive any annoyance from it.

Cancelled my CPW order as they delayed delivery but still want my phone within the timeframe for trade in. Would leave me without a phone for a week or more and they wouldn't budge.

Anyone have any other suggestions on where there might be stock?

What has it come to hey....... we are all concerned about dust.....DUST!! lol haha
If it wasn't dust it would be something else.

Last year it was micro analysing iPhone 12 screens as apparently they were "ALL" yellow or not true black. Folks were returning iPhones up-to 10 times in search of the perfect screen. Not saying there might have been a few "off" screens (lets face it they never purported to be reference grade) but it became laughable watching folk chase their tails and never just enjoying their new phone.
