Interesting. Seems like the American market for the iPhone 13 may be rather less enthusiastic than us. As regards the Apple Watch S7 it looks like we’re level pegging. Part of the problem with the S7 is that the leakers built it up so much and got it so spectacularly wrong.

The more I see if the comparisons to the 6 and 5 (which I have) the more I’m put off.

Like the idea of the faster charging as I’d like to wear the watch to sleep ( for tracking) when it’s usually charging. Unfortunately I’m invested in the 3-1 belkin charging stand and don’t want more wires.

Hoping for a 2022 update which looks like what I was hoping this years did.

On a fully charged Watch, sleep tracking actually doesn’t use much battery at all.

On my S4 Watch, I wear it to bed at around 11pm, with 100% battery. When I wake in the morning for work at 06:35, the Watch still has 82% battery, which is more than enough to get me through the new day. I just bung it on the charger for half an hour before bed and it’s ready for another night’s tracking.

Simples.

It’s then needing it charged up enough to get through the next day

Tried the Spigen OneTap in the car today. Works a treat. Only problem is I can’t charge phone on it yet. My fault, obviously didn’t read description properly. The plug is USB-C . New adaptor ordered.

All of those with long wait times for pre-orders, have you not considered ordering from John Lewis/Currys/Argos/Amazon etc? They seem to have fairly regular stock updates. Apple's current delivery time for a 13 Mini 128GB in Midnight is 15th-20th October, whereas John Lewis had stock for delivery and collection tomorrow.

EDIT: Seems the Pro Max is more limited in supply in general

I've been checking John Lewis/Currys/Argos/Amazon etc and every time I check they are out of stock for the model I am after (iPhone 13 Pro/Graphite/256GB). I'll just have to be patient!

I did contemplate upgrading from my Titanium Cellular Apple Watch Series 5 but it’s not worth much in resale and I don’t see a big difference between that and the Series 7 so I’ll probably just hold off for now. Maybe next year if there is a big difference then I’ll upgrade.

Agreed. I have the S5 and the only thing I really like about the S7 is the on screen keyboard for messaging! lol
Otherwise I don't use my S5 enough to justify the upgrade - I only really use my watch for time (obviously!) and general notifications etc.....
I'll pass this year - maybe next year if I hang on to my 13PM for my normal 2 year cycle I'll consider a new watch instead.....

Well after the Curry’s palava Yesterday I’ve received an email from apple this morning informing me that my wife’s iPhone 13 mini in midnight blue is arriving tomorrow :)


(Phone was ordered via Apples website 21st Sept for those of you who are also waiting for their’s)

Took most part of last evening to set it up from new! I love the build quality of my Graphite 13 Pro!

Although had a glitch with Apple Pay and my AMEX that made me factory reset once but the rest of the process was smooth.

Found all my Android apps except some of the Samsung ones (obvious reasons) on iOS.

I know we say iOS hasn’t changed for years but I’m finding it very different after a couple of years of Android in a good way.

Let’s see what today brings.

Quick question on MagSafe chargers - I'm seeing various different ones on Amazon, most seem to be rated 10W to 15W.

Is this essentially just the speed at which the phone will charge - so the higher the wattage, the quicker the charge ?

Also - anyone recommend a decent one?

Anyone know if 13 Pro Graphite is same as 12 Pro Graphite? I cannot see any comparison images on Google. Apple mentioned darker Graphite but is it though?
