Hi, anyone go with AppleCare+ for their new iPhone? Because it seems from previous posts a lot of people got screen protectors and cases.

And is it worth it for yearly upgraders?

I did, and I got theft and loss protection as well just in case.

Me. I bought outright, then thought I’ve never dropped or damaged an iPhone, there’s little chance of it being stolen so I cancelled. Then…. My OCD kicked in and have reordered it, paying monthly. More expensive but peace of mind etc…

Yep I think that’s a great buy if you’re willing to part with that much money. But I don’t, at the moment, game enough on the iPhone to justify it. I tried the DualShock 4 with the mount last night properly and have to say I was impressed. It is a bit heavy with the Pro Max in there but doable for a bit of a stint of Oceanhorn 2 and Lego Brawls before bed.

Canceled my 13 Pro Max in 128gb (ordered early morning on Saturday day after pre-order date with estimated delivery 19th-26th Oct) as I managed to do reservation yesterday with same day collection in Birmingham Apple Store. Can’t find who posted the link - but thank you so much! Worth to check regularly as the stock is changing quite often:

Is ProRes even that important? Just for the average person, they would only care about good video recording quality and not delve into post-production edits too much right? Plus transferring those large files over lightening is just going to be a painful experience.

Agreed - great bit of kit but far too overpriced I think. But then again, if you're really into cloud gaming then this seems like the best option for an iPhone.

Sitting around drumming my fingers waiting for the delivery today.

the track page from apples website shows it left Hinckley at 0600 and has no other info, does anyone know how to do any other tracking?

Assuming that’s the syncreon page (apples logistics partner). When you click that tracking link, pretty sure there’s a ‘manage your delivery’ or something, link in the right corner. They should take you to the dhl site.

You should also get a text from them with a link at some point.

If it was DPD, if you’ve got their app installed, it would have showed up in there
