..damn this thread has slowed right down!!
😕

Watched Black Widow last night on Disney Plus - not a bad film!
giphy.gif

Will give that another watch later - my Disney+ free 6 month offer from O2 ends next week!!
I would rather get rid of Netflix and keep Disney+ but the kids prefer the former....and I'm not paying for both! lol
I find we only really use Disney+ on the odd occasion here and there, when a decent enough film is released.....

Have we settled with our new phones enough to give up with 'Battery watching'?
Or are we still in the 'preserve battery health' phase?

Don’t think that will happen. Will reopen at 1 as usual
You’re probably right. Just wishful thinking on my part.

I suspect that despite the fact that demand will be modest compared to other pre-orders (eg iPhone) it’s going to be a chaotic *hit-show at 1:00pm as people globally scramble to find the specs / price point that suits them (with the added pressure that availability is limited). Apple could so easily have avoided this!

I have no interest in the S7 TBH.
I'd love the on screen keyboard, but my S5 can last me another year.....

On a side note, do you guys pay for the cellular service for your watch?
I cancelled mine 2 months ago as I always have my phone with me anyways, but now I kinda feel like there are times where I could leave my phone at home and pop out for a bike ride/walk etc....... typical - when you dont have something you want it again!!!

Think I’m settled on the graphite series 7. Will be giving the series 6 to my mum. Dunno I know it’s costly but I miss the stainless steel look

No not yet had a reason to have a plan for the same reason you mentioned.

Not many occasions I don’t have the phone with me… even when running I just have an armband with it in and it does the trick

I'm not quite battery watching anymore but I have changed the way I charge my phone. I used to 100% it every night without fail (came from an XS). But now because of the unbelievable battery on the 13 PM and wanting to preserve the battery health I'll charge to around 80% in the evening and that's normally more than enough to get me through the next 24 hours.

Of course, on days where I know I won't be near a charger all day (that anxiety still exists) I'll charge to 100% before heading out in the morning

I still have my S4 Space Black Stainless Steel watch and still going strong - I have seen no other Apple watch since then, which interests me in terms of looks or features so I'm happy to keep this for several years to come (personally think it looks better than any current watches anyway).

It also has its own cellular service through EE (I think its literally only an extra £5 a month) and it comes in handy quite often when I want to pop out and don't want to grab my phone, which means I am still contactable in case of an emergency.

I also use my watch for running as it can track everything from distance, steps, heart rate, cadence, elevation of the terrain you're running on, maps your route, among other things, all without having to have my phone on me.
