You're only getting an extra hour of actual battery life - 6hrs vs the AirPods 2 of 5hrs.

Additionally, the AirPods Pro are currently only £188 on Amazon - now THAT is a no brainer!!!

The apple MagSafe chargers are to me a massively overpriced waste of money.. that duo charger is apple at its worst for overpriced, Uber spec’d accessories.

I’m more than happy with the Belkin MagSafe 3-1.. well made and perfect bedside 1 cable unit for me
I agree. I had bought the MagSafe charger when it was released only to return it as the 1 metre cable isn’t long enough for my needs and as it’s fixed you can’t replace it with a longer one. Sure you can extend it but that’s neither ideal or practical. I don’t particularly like any of Apples MagSafe accessories.

I bought the Belkin 3 in 1 for home use even though I don’t have AirPods with wireless charging. It works really well with both my iPhone 13 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max before that as well as my Apple Watch Series 5. I also have the Anker wireless MagSafe portable battery pack for on the go use to recharge my phone. That works really well. Granted it doesn’t have the capability to full recharge my phone due to capacity it’s provides enough charge. 😃👍

John Lewis is also selling the AirPods Pro for £188.99. Almost the same price. They also offer a two year guarantee. They might be a better place to buy. Plus the Pros have noise cancellation and the new third generation don’t.

I have an old Belkin boost up which is the best of all imo, not magsafe and not that powerful but I dont need speed charge for the way I use it

I like the 3 in 1 but it doesnt have usb out and I like having the flexibility of being able to charge my ipad as well as the phone and watch. if the the 3 in 1 had usb port I would get it

The Airpods Pro are wireless charging too arent they? So they would charge fine on a magsafe charger......

On Apple's website : £239
Currys : £219
Amazon/John Lewis : £189

Indeed. They’ve also quietly updated the case on the Pros to include MagSafe connection and charging too. Though I’d imagine there’d be a period of time where third parties sell through existing stock.

Just received my new Belkin 3 in 1! This thing really does look the part. I was a bit hesitant to get it but now I have it in hand I think I am going to keep it. Simplifies my bedside charging zone.

...surely that Belkin would charge everything at a vastly reduced rate when you have an iPhone 13, Apple Watch and AirPods all charging at the same time?!!!!

That’s a fair point. I use a separate USB C to USB C cable and charger for my iPad. I have two power strips under my desk both full as I have so many connected devices and I just plug the iPad charger in one of those. I think the Belkin 3 in 1’s standard power plug means it probably benefits more regards the 15W fast charging.

Granted wireless charging is still slower then wired but I charge my phone and watch overnight so I don’t really have a problem with it. If I decide to get wireless charging AirPods there is a space for them too.

For those that traded in their old devices at MusicMagpie, how long after your phone was received did it take for the cash to hit your account?

I had them pay it into my bank account. The paid out on a Friday but it arrived on the Monday. I would think if it was sent on Thursday it would have been in the account on Friday, just the weekend got in the way. Took them a couple of days to actually send the money though.

Am I the only one still waiting for their order? Mine is due 26th to 2nd- it looks like people have been receiving their orders about 4 days early, so hoping that I can get mine this week 🤞
