I vote iPhone XR, it’s a really good phone for the price.
Mines is out for delivery as well. 1230-1330 window

DHL guy showed up 10 mins early. I was outside playing with the dog and left my phone inside so didn’t hear him. Luckily he hung around knocking and ringing the bell.

On reading, my instinct was the XSmax... Purely on the basis that it's a robust phone that she'll be holding onto for a long time. I'm sure she won't be overly fussed about the bells and whistles but when you get into the nuanced differences between that and the XR, the XSMax gets more compelling. Little things like it being louder, having two back cameras and probably easier to source a battery replacement for than an XR. Plus, she may not get the choice of colour meaning she could be lumbered with a less appealing one.

No phone today bloody DHL claimed they tried to deliver at 12.15 my mrs was in all day and my house has cameras at all angles no one came. Rang to dispute said I have cameras for proof they said would send him back. Tracking update says coming tomorrow 😡
I was at work. I knew I was going to miss the delivery. I wish they’d used DPD as you get so many options to divert your parcel to a pick up point or deliver to a neighbour, etc, etc with them.
With DHL it’s literally just, ‘out for delivery’, and that’s all you’re getting.
I couldn’t even change to another day because I work every day, long hours.
I’m just deciding how long to leave it before going to the DHL depot, which thankfully isn’t that far. I don’t want to get there before the driver has finished his round and got there himself!
Edit: Just phoned DHL, Apple have placed a restriction on collecting from the DHL depot. My wife and I work very long hours. So we will literally will never be in when they deliver. Looks like I’m not getting my new phone until they have some in stock in a store. This has really pee’d me off.

My DHL delivery was over an hour late today, had me panicking. Somehow he got into the building without buzzing then nocked really quietly at my door while I was in the middle of a teams meeting at work. At least I got though, much prefer DPD for deliveries.

Then he gave me the address for the depot (which I assume DHL gave him), which was about a 40 minute drive away, they’re open till 8… It’s different to the depot address on the card they left (5 minutes away), but that’s where they said my package was.
When I arrive, I find it’s in complete darkness. On the off chance, I thought I’d go to the address on the card, 5 minutes from my house, I got there at 10 to 8, it closes At 8 - they had my package. They also told me that the other depot that I was sent to closed 2 years ago…
Anyway, I have my phone now!

I really think they should discontinue the 13inch Pro and create an additional product in the Air line. Otherwise the Pro line is fragmented and confusing for customers for no reason. Have it as:

It’ll also have a clear price difference too

In my opinion, AirPods have been one of the best new products from Apple over the last few years, they’re just so convenient!!
If I didn’t have the Pros already, I’d definitely give the new 3rd gen a go. You can always return them if not happy

I had my device replaced by EE due to network / call failed issues yesterday. I decided to get Torras screen protector from Amazon for £20 but was very very disappointed. They DO NOT provide full coverage as advertised and are no better from ESR Armorite. ESR Armorite feels more smooth and are clearer in my opinion. I had one left from my last purchase so ended up installing that.
