I’ve got a question. Has anyone had any experience with the MagSafe battery pack?

I tried a belkin one recently and it was crap. I know the idea is it’s a little boost until you can plug it in but it didn’t even add 20% power!

I don’t want to be lugging massive power banks round and loads of cables. Just after something for a boost if I’m out and about and it can go in a pocket.

Got a few weekends away coming up soon and one would be useful !

I don’t have any experience with the official Apple one but I do have this Anker magnetic portable battery pack. I don’t it will give a full charge to a Pro Max but it does give quite a high percentage. It’s fairly small and would probably fit in a pocket. It’s a good thing to have if you urgently need to get some charge into your phone and don’t have access to a power outlet.

Yeah I knew that. I ordered the cheap ones off AliExpress because I was unsure of the concept - I didn't think I'd like having reduced cards on the back of my phone but it turns out I quite like it. While I won't be buying Apple's version I'm looking a picking up a third party version now. Maybe the MOFT?

I’d looked at the Anker one too! Just noticed I can get it for £40 with a voucher which seems like a good price.

I can get the apple one for about £88 through work. I really like it how it works I’m just finding it really hard to justify the cost!

Yea I quite like the concept of grabbing a couple of cards from a main much bigger wallet and throwing them into the Apple Wallet when you know you don't actually need to take all your cards with you!!

I got mine the first day of my delivery window. Was hoping for earlier but no luck. The shortages are definitely real this year.

I’ve been super happy with EE. London is too big though. It depends on which area you travel to or live in mostly. There are some patchy areas for literally every network.

Mines still going strong although I really don’t like the amount of lint it seems to accumulate around the edge. I’ve never seen a glass protector do this before…..?!!

Just looked in my settings on my EE 13 Pro Max. It says…

Network Provider Lock - No Sim Restrictions.

I presume this answers your question but best get further confirmation before you bite.

Looks great - although not sure about that notch! I’ve heard and seen issues with it whereby you can actually move the mouse cursor BEHIND the notch area!!!!! Apple clearly fekked up THAT design ?

EE have confirmed that I only need to send in my watch and its original strap (don't need to send the charger) as a trade-in against the S7 watch.

Now just gotta dig out the original strop my S4 watch arrived with (think it was just a plain black sports strap).

My delivery window was 26th-2nd and it arrived on 29th. Received my dispatch email 23:58 the day before delivery. Good luck!
