Received a revised trade in offer of £0 for my 11 from Apple due to "data not wiped". I followed the steps and I'm sure I wiped and reset my phone? If I get them to return the phone to me, does anyone know if I am able to wipe it and resend?

That’s odd if you did it! Yes, get it sent back and wipe and resend. It would be a new order as such to the offer price might change?

I’d looked at the Anker one too! Just noticed I can get it for £40 with a voucher which seems like a good price.

I can get the apple one for about £88 through work. I really like it how it works I’m just finding it really hard to justify the cost!
I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Apple one can charge the phone and itself at the same time. I’m not sure if the Anker can do that. That said I’m happy with the Anker one although I don’t use it very often as the 13 Pro Max battery is so good. There hasn’t been a time so far when I’ve been running really low on battery.

How are everyone’s Armorites holding up? I’ve just spotted a tiny crack in the top right corner (conveniently in the black border). No drop at all and no hits that I can recall.
Mines holding up well so far. I have dropped my phone once on it’s display side but it was on carpet. I do have an issue with lint though which is a bit annoying.

I’m a fan of the Anker battery packs, but I honestly can’t see the point of a wireless one when usually a decent pd pack will charge your phone much quicker. I usually have one or two when out on day walks, especially on my own.
I get your point but the nice thing is about the wireless MagSafe ones is that you don’t have to connect a cable between the battery pack and the phone. Personally I find that annoying while carrying and using the phone. The wireless MagSafe ones are a much more elegant and practical solution all be it slower to charge. That’s just my opinion though.

It’s certainly more elegant and I’m waiting to see if Anker do anything Black Friday-wise later this month as one of these is on my list. I like the idea of the stand as well, but personally for walking having the cable option allows me to also charge a garmin, etc, through The usb-a port. I would add this is usually done at rest stops on events, so time is of the essence to get back out. Plus, womens pockets are useless anyway, finding anything big enough for the phone is miracle enough, never mind a magpack as well!

Instead of sending my phone in as a trade in for my upgrade to EE I sold it to argos. They said they would apply a £440 charge to my account for the phone but they haven’t yet.

Well I went with the Apple battery pack in the end.

I’m very impressed with it! Took it away on a trip this weekend and it proved invaluable.

Added 60% to my 13 pro, quite impressive given the size of it. Was t as slow as everyone was making out either!

I just put it on and forgot about it. It did get a little warm in my pocket though!

I'm pretty sure they will indeed apply this to your account - there's no way they'll let you off the £440...!!! It will be applied on your next billing cycle (they don't just charge you randomly).

I dunno about that lol.

Im still waiting for them to apply £250 upfront cost to one of our business line since May 2021.
Upgraded one of the lines to 12 Pro Max. Decided to pay £250 upfront to reduce the monthly line rental.
Agent advised they will apply onto account so no need to pay via Credit Card. Still not seen that charge and monthly line rental reduced to the price as agreed.

Anyone able to help out with a question please?

I have two phones to trade in. Have both the trade in kits ready to return them to Apple.

However, how do I know which trade in kit to use for which device (both phones being traded in are different)?

Just to add the instructions say:

"make sure you are packing the correct product in to the correct trade in kit by checking the WO number on your return shipping label matches the order number in your confirmation email"

But I don't see a WO number on the return shipping label...

I see a customer reference number on the label but cant tie this back to anything.

Wasn’t there an order number associated with the trade in? Who’s is the trade in with, Royal Mail?

They can usually use the tracking reference to tie to your order. Just put a note in each package with yours and the order details in.

Because they have your device serial number etc, I think you should be ok

depends on your use case... if you use iCloud for photos etc?, are you keeping lots of music, photos, video on your device? how much do you currently use on your phone? if you want to film in prores you'll need 256
Not really take a lot of photos but I do download a lot of music from Apple Music and podcasts from Overcast

Im back lol.

Placed a new upgrade order with EE yesterday.

My last device developed a hardware issue. Apple had no stock to send out and EE offered a 14 days returned device as replacement which i refused to accept.

Credit to EE they offered to let me upgrade again as i was more than 30 days into my contract together with all the discounts i had on previous contract.

Picked an iPhone 6s locally to use as burner with 100% battery health.

Let the wait begin. Launch Day Force Awakens.
