Which Model are you getting?

Bad luck with the drop / cracked screen. You’re obviously careful having managed to avoid doing it for 15 years. For peace of mind I always buy AppleCare+ but it’s an added expense.

I would have the phone repaired by Apple even though their charges are very high. Going to a cheap high street repair shop could buy you all sorts of trouble not least being if a recycler spots that it’s not an official Apple screen.
Thanks - yeah, I guess I've saved overall but this instance will make me consider getting AppleCare+ in future.

Agreed, I think for peace of mind when it comes to reselling/recycling and with warranty etc, I'll just have to bite the bullet and go through Apple 🤑

Thanks again.

Bet the Pro versions increase in price with all the extras over the non Pro
I agree. I think if Apple wants to increase the prices for the iPhone they should only do so for the iPhone Pro models only. No reason to raise prices across the board.

Remember the times when Tim Cook was trying to tell the consumers that $999 for a smartphone is a 'value price'? He was also telling us to cut down on Starbucks coffee weekly to afford an iPhone X. How time flies! 🙃

...and seeing that we currently have the 'Mini' range in the iPhone 13, seems strange that there won't be a 'Mini' in this year's phone.

I'm holding out for iPhone 20 Pro..!!!!

It anyone could help sent my phone off to music magpie via Royal Mail but forgot to write the order number on paper and but in it with the package. Does this matter or not? Also how quickly is the turn around to get the money in bank?

normally about a week but that could delay it. Have you emailed in and given them the serial number at least so it’s a start to prove it’s yours

You should be fine if you used the QR code. The label printed at the PO will have the info they need to receive it properly!

does make me wonder if the kiosk is a better plan if it accepts and pays instantly?!

If the rumours of the 14 (not pro) using the current gen processor, and assuming not getting ProMotion etc... I can't see how Apple could justify an increase (but I'm sure they still will!)

Pro Max at 256GB still static at £750
That’s a very good price for a phone that could be over 10 months old (launched on the 24th September 2021). Cost then was £1,149 so that’s a loss of just £399. Very acceptable in my view for what would be (when it’s sent off) 11 months use. Depreciation of £36.27 per month.

The problem is bridging the gap between the time you have to send it off and the arrival of the new model.

MM just upped the price on 12 Pro.

Locked in again.
Thanks for that just done the same for my 12Pro. I know it’s been asked before but anyone used one of these MM SMARTkiosk ? There’s one at an Asda about 3 miles from me. Looks like it‘s fully automated and it needs to scan the IMEI number as part of the checks, how does it do that if you’ve wiped your phone ?🤔 I assume to scan the QR code too (which they send you by email) it means by using a different device.

Scratch that - you tap the “i” at the bottom right of the start up screen 🙄
