even more odd is that I can't seem to price up a space black titanium series 7 with a leather strap... the option for a leather strap is greyed out.. only seems possible for the silvery titanium finish?!

I see music magpie really pushing their kiosk drop offs now. Suggesting payment day day it dropped off!

Anyone have any recent experience of using them? Seems they’re in a lot more places now too.

Are these the ones in Asda? My local doesn't have one, I haven't seen it at least...

Yes, those.

Can’t help with how well they work but there are some comments in the last few pages I think.
I'll have to have a proper look next time I go in my local but i'm 99% sure they don't have one, got an old phone I'll test it with if they do.

Sorry if off topic - for the first time ever, having owned every iPhone since the 2G, I've dropped my iPhone 13 Pro Max and cracked the front screen 😩

Apple quote £316 to replace the front screen which seems steep but I suppose it's a big old screen to be fair.

I'll definitely be getting the iPhone 14 Pro Max when released and the screen isn't too badly damaged for the meantime but looking at the Music Magpie quotes based on good condition vs damaged, it makes sense to have the screen replaced before sending it in.

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas before I book in with Apple and pay through the teeth? Thanks

Bad luck with the drop / cracked screen. You’re obviously careful having managed to avoid doing it for 15 years. For peace of mind I always buy AppleCare+ but it’s an added expense.

I would have the phone repaired by Apple even though their charges are very high. Going to a cheap high street repair shop could buy you all sorts of trouble not least being if a recycler spots that it’s not an official Apple screen.

I was offered smart kiosk for my iPhone 12 pro when i locked the price yesterday but not for iPhone 13 pro.

I decided against it lol.
