Its disappointing we havent seen any leaks re magsafe wallet.

I'll be replacing my Baltic Blue wallet this year.
I mislaid mine somewhere in the house (I think) months ago. I thought I'd be able to locate it using the inbuilt facility but no such luck. Can't now see the point of it. Does it only tell you its location at the time it is detached?

How have you gotten on with your wallet? I assume it works well for you if you're looking to update it?

I tried it out in the Apple Store and it fell off most times when I tried putting it back into my back pocket.

I love super slim wallets and had hoped this was the perfect solution for me, but it was a non-starter due to how weak the magnetic connection is. Compare this with the official MagSafe battery pack which has a much stronger magnetic connection, helped out by the back being slightly rubberised to reduce slippage.

reading some battery rumours and interesting to see that all in the line up, bar the 14 pro max, are looking to get a capacity increase.. the PM capacity going down!

a little contradictory to other posts!

"According to a Baidu post, the regular iPhone 14 could feature a 3,279 mAh battery, compared to the iPhone 13, 3,227 mAh. The 14 Pro could use a 3,200 mAh battery, compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, 3,095 mAh. On the other hand, the 14 Pro Max would have a slightly smaller battery, with 4,323 mAh compared to the 13 Pro Max with 4,352 mAh."

Least the A16 should be more energy efficient so hopefully not much difference in real terms

It works is perfect harmony with Apple cases. The magnets on cases are strong compared to iPhone itself so it helps.

2 cards and Wallet app is all i carry now.

or maybe a £20 note when i know i will need it.

That'll be it, then.

I tested it out on my naked phone and it just wouldn't stay put.

If they can improve the bond, I'd certainly like to revisit them.

Apple Pay has honestly been a game changer for me in the UK! I think it's the best service that Apple provides right now. I keep forgetting I can pay from my AW too but I guess it doesn't show me any transactions history.

Also who is excited about the AOD? I don’t own an Apple Watch so am really looking forward it! For me it’s this years stand out feature!

Not overly happy about the larger phone size due to the battery they need to run this though!!

The 12 pro was the right size and weight IMO!
AOD is the number one feature i am most excited for, was really gutted when it didn't make the cut for the iPhone 13s

I pay for everything using my Apple watch. So easy.

I use Apple pay for everything.
I have the Apple wallet on the phone case, I have my physical credit cards (Amex & MasterCard) and my driving license in there. I can't remember the last time I had to take a card out of the wallet though.

Does everyone prefer to use cloud storage compared to the old backup to a computer? I have always used the old “iTunes” method but thinking of switching to iCloud back ups…

Is there a £ limit for the watch?
It works exactly the same as on the phone.

If your bank has a limit, it will be the same on the phone and watch.

Apple Pay on the watch does not need to be near your phone to work. If you go for a run with the watch and leave your phone at home, you can nip into a shop and buy a drink etc. This will work with both cellular and non-cellular Apple Watches.

another who is fully embraced in the Apple Pay ecosystem. Adoption has been so easy with most places accepting contactless.

the ice-cream van who comes in the summer evenings accepts contactless too!

the only place I've needed cash for is the odd cheeky kebab 😁
