I have pre-ordered a 13 Pro and just hope I don’t regret the weight gain over the 11 Pro.
I’ve gone from 12 pro max to 13 pro this year. The size was just too awkward for me.
I've preordered an iPad mini too so I won’t miss the big screen 👍🏼

Just done the pre order......pre order. Base model 13 in blue. 128gb.
As ridiculous as it is I'd have kept the 12 has the blue have been nicer. I came from the blue xr which is probably my favourite iphone ever. So I'm just hoping the blue is a shade lighter.
I like how the pro blue looks but for my usage I can't justify another £200 because it looks slightly better.
I did ponder the pro max but the weight puts me off. And the fact I have tiny hands so there wouldn't be any way 1 handed usage would work.
I did have 1k saved though so think I'll grab a SE watch as I think it's a nice upgrade from the 3 I currently have.

I've always just taken it and then been a little more lax with the phone, no case or screen protector. Paying for the convenience of using the phone naked without the anxiousness.

I always make sure I have them insured one way or the other, don't always go with AppleCare though.
Did anyone last year who did the 'pre-pre-ordering' have multiple phones ready? I'm ordering for my wife and I and wondered if I'll be able to add both to basket and checkout once or have to do both separately if I've got the two phones 'ready'.
If you mean you're part-way through the Barclays 24mth plan for your 12PM, yes you can 'Get Ready' for the 13PM
Me. I might yet just upgrade to a 12 mini! I'm in the fortunate position though of living very close to an Apple Store, so I can nip in in a month or so when it's quiet and do a compare & contrast on the weight and real-life colours. And the total cost. Tempted by the better cameras in the 13s but it's not as if I have kids or pets I want to photograph daily.
I've also always got Apple Care Plus but have never ever used it. I just got a refund from last years. Got £117 back so will use this to buy this years and do the same agin next. Just feel safer having it and as you can get a refund for what you don't use it makes sense to me.Preordering a preorder

We're setting up the finance. Once approved you just place your order on Friday.
So if you are currently on IUP you can’t do the “get ready” ?
Do you have to wait until 17th, then go through process and chose one to pickup and swap in store?
I’ve tried to look online, and asked in Apple chat and it’s not clear.
The only option on Apple store app is to go from IUP to buying on 24 months 0%. So why can’t the option of IUP be there?
Also it would cost me as the trade in offered is £375 but I still owe 11 payments which is about £50 more…

I was hoping I would be able to pre-order and do this in store but it doesn't seem like apple are allowing that.
You can ONLY do this if you trade in your current phone with Apple (or you can sell it privately of course) - they will give you a sum of money[1] which then goes towards paying off your current Barclays Finance[2]. If this sum[1] is not enough to pay off this balance[2] then you'll have to pay this yourself at the checkout.
I wasn't going to get the 13, but after reading all your posts on here about which phones you were all getting ready for pre-ordering I bit the bullet and 'got ready' a graphite 13 Pro. Upgrading from a Xs here so the 13 should be a nice upgrade for me.
I know someone posted a screenshot earlier of the prices for the iUP but can anyone actually see the iUP anywhere in the Apple Store App ? Seems like its been removed (it used to be a heading when you tapped on your profile pic in the top right within the 'Shop' tab along the bottom) ?
