Does anyone know the main difference between the esr tempered glass screen protector and the armorite…also is that black border on the armorite that visible?

Well that's the 13 Pro all packed up and on it's way to MM. Hopefully today's chaos wasn't the universe's way of telling me not to go through with it. Hopefully that Amazon order comes through. Too late now 🤪
We are committed soldiers now and must see this through to the bitter end. Stay strong comrade!

EE Sorted
£30 Upgrade fee
£92
- EE Discount 20%
New Monthly
£73.6

Total Yearly Cost: £913.20 this includes 1 year Apple Music with Smart benefit which would normally cost £120

iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Gold

Upgrading yearly is definitely cheaper to go with EE
good you got a discount.

I got my 20% discount due to my work having a contract with EE. Otherwise the deal would have been £98 a month.

were you on the annual upgrade program with EE last year?

Seems to be a lot on here use glass screen protector’s. I’ve never got on with those.

Any recommendations on the film types please? I’ve used mediadevil in past and always been great. They don’t seek until in hand so want another one until comes out.

Or anyone know if the 13 Pro and 14 pro are exact same size screen wise? Not sure as says bezels less this time?

from ESR site:

Tempered-Glass Screen Protectors

Choosing a screen protector shouldn’t be difficult. You want one that will protect your phone screen from drops, bumps, and scratches, and offer super-easy, bubble-free application. For a screen protector that gives you all that and more, you can’t go wrong with our Tempered-Glass Screen Protector. Made of glass that’s specially tempered to withstand up to 33 lb (15 kg) of pressure from every kind of drop, bump, and scratch, it offers a seamless fit that reproduces the original feel, look, and responsiveness of your iPhone 14 Pro’s screen.

But maybe you want the strongest screen protector there is, tested to withstand up to 110 lb (50 kg) of force. Then you need our Armorite™ Screen Protector, engineered to withstand anything life can throw at it and with a special oleophobic coating to show off your phone’s display in the best way possible. And if you want to keep your privacy protected as well as your phone screen, we offer a Privacy Screen Protector, which utilizes a special filter that guards your display from prying eyes.

never noticed the black border on my 13

I'm just looking at EE's contracts for iPhone 14... and wow, they're expensive!

They are, and unless you know from experience they have a good signal in your area, don’t believe a damn thing they say. According to EE and their coverage map, I’m slap bang in the middle of their best available coverage. Except, for the past two years, I’ve had no data reception at home, and only get calls in one spot of the entire house.
Ultimately they decided that it was the building material of my house which is preventing the signal penetrating. Fair enough, except, I just picked up a Three payg sim to trial their network and I get an amazing 5G signal in every room of the house. Bye, bye EE…

… Oh, if you’re wondering why I stayed beyond the initial 14 days, they consistently told me that work was being performed in my area, and that as soon as it was finished, the signal would be returned to normal.
Like a fool, I believed them (as it’s supposed to be a good area according to the coverage map, not a gap, or drop in service quality in it for many dozens of miles).

Weird. I had two separate payments taken like you, one for the case at £49 and the phone payment, though the phone payment was for the correct amount (£1209), not the "grand total" (£1258)
Hmm - I was thinking that grand total was a check to see if I had the funds available and that the £49 is the actual charge because they are dispatching that first. Also hoping that they'll release the £1358 and just charge the £1309 when the iPhone is dispatched.

Anyway, can't do much about it until I see what actually gets charged and what stays pending.

I’ve just tried one more time and loads of reservations everywhere for Friday so managed to reserve one.

Worth trying now if unable to reserve one for the upgrade program earlier.

Thinking of this magsafe case + tempered glass combo

✅ Elderberry Silicone Case - coming 14th
✅ ESR Armorite Protector - coming 11th

I have not used a screen protector or case this year for the first time ever, only 2 light marks on the sides. AppleCare+ and naked 👍🏻 (me not the iPhone)

La la la .. still attempting to ’use a different payment method’ .. was told by chat to phone but they’re not answering phones at the moment as the queues are so long! .. have had an email now asking me to pay but I can’t do anything with it until things calm down and they’re actually contactable!
I am fairly confident (I think?!) that, as I have an order number and money won’t be taken until the start of next week at the earliest that I do still have a phone available for launch day delivery 🤞
