What model are you getting?

I couldn’t get past the red phone number issue so had to cancel my pre pre order and do a new order with finance which went though, but with an early October delivery date, hopefully that might come forward a bit though.

With the Pros capable of shooting Pro Res with HDR, 256GB should be base storage for them. This is especially true because if you are a content creator you will likely shoot multiple takes.

Yes but the 128GB model doesn't have the ProRes capability so its a moot point in a way. If they started at 256gb hten it would be less affordable for the many people who wont touch that functionality.

the armorite again? is it the same protector for the 13 and 14?

the wording on this amazon item makes me wonder

That one looks like it’s last years screen protector, this is the new one, not sure what the differences are https://amzn.eu/d/5y8iFt9

key is not to lock in but save the quote... once you 'check out' you have 21 days.

saved quotes are valid for 14 days before you then have to check out to add the 21 on today
Ah, I’m too late then. Well fingers crossed Apple deliver 10 days early…

I’ve tried getting through to their support all afternoon to rant / see if they can do anything given the eye watering amount of money they’ve taken off me since 2008!

Same, been pre ordering for years and this was the worst experience by far - I know it's only a phone but does take some of the buzz away when the delivery date slips 2-3 weeks.

Correct, not sure how I feel about black edges on it
The black edges to help it very seamlessly blend into the phone. I've been considering skipping the Armorite myself and going with the standard ones, how do they look?

I've had worse luck than others on here with the Armorite having had to change it 2/3 times - might as well go for a cheaper option if I'm going to be doing that!

You are not alone with this. I had a nightmare trying to order via the app. The phone number on the shipping address had gone missing for some reason and no matter what I tried to enter I kept getting an “error processing your request. Please try later”. In the end I had to use the web which went through cleanly. Lost 10 to 14 days on the delivery date. Not a first world issue but annoying that the app won’t accept my phone number. Just called tech support and they can’t figure out why either. Never had an issue before.

I was the same. I was flipping between the app and mobile website before the store opened again. The app was first, every other year I’ve used the app with no issues whatsoever. This year, total nightmare, so was the mobile website. When I got to my desk, I used the desktop browser and on the second attempt got my order in. But I’d lost 4 weeks of delivery in the time It took me to do it all. Still, at least the order is in, and quite often it ends up being sooner than estimated.

Keeping my 13PM for now but I did order the 14PM for my mom, I ordered at exactly 5AM but after it processed it went from the 16th to 23rd.

I stick one on and that’s it. Ended up giving away the other 2 to colleagues. They’re great but yea they do get a little big dusty on the edges but it really doesn’t bother me as I also have a case on

So... I may have accidentally... slipped in an order for a purple 256GB Iphone 13 pro at 13:10, arriving next Friday! I really wasn't going to do it, but i've had a crap week, we had to put my retired Guide Dog Brodie to sleep on Monday, so i've been an emotional reck all week! So getting the 14 pro, and trading in this 13 pro Max. Looking forward to having a smaller phone for my smaller hands.

Are you getting another pro (noting your signature...) or going to a pro max? I ask because pro max all options seem to be oct 3rd, but for pro, some options (colour/memory) are showing sept 19th to me.

Secured another 256gb Pro from Very delivering next week. Will cancel my Apple order when that gets delivered.

Its not the same you paid £xxxx for an iPhone. I'm paying around £913.20 for the year including iPhone.

Note this is a 24 month contract but I look at it yearly because I upgrade every year.
I must be misunderstanding. I paid nothing for the phone, my payment to Barclays are just over £50 per month then sim only price on top of that. After a year I sell the phone to pay off the loan (this year netting £200 profit) then start again. With your discount the carrier route maybe similar but in general I struggle to see how it’s better.

Even if buying in full, a £1200 phone is £600 per year. A £25 per month sim only is £300 for the year so the yearly cost is £900.

Apple orders are showing the option to cancel now; however you seem to receive the "Something Went Wrong" screen which directs you to contact their support (who are unavailable currently)

I've ordered a 14 Pro Max 256 and silicone case, totalling £1358. However, I've got two pending charges - one for phone+case and another for the case:

View attachment 2055137

Maybe only the £1358 will actually be collected, or maybe it's something to do with the case being shipped separately for delivery on the 14th.
Weird. I had two separate payments taken like you, one for the case at £49 and the phone payment, though the phone payment was for the correct amount (£1209), not the "grand total" (£1258)

Why is it not next Friday yet though?
