I've got til Thursday to send off my 13 Pro to Envirofone to get the £700 quoted price which expires on Friday, but I'm tempted to send it a few days earlier so the jump from a dilapidated, borderline-antique iPhone 5S to the 14 Pro feels even more special!

I imagine they would still process it (to account for postal delays) if you sent it after the expiry date.

I always ensure it arrives on or before the date the letter says it "needs to reach us by" - which this year is Friday 16th. I send them Royal Mail Special Delivery every year and they're always processed and paid up the day after I send, so no reason to assume this year will be different.

I like the look of the Belkin portable MagSafe. Never actually used the MagSafe or wireless charging (except in one of our cars and it’s not the great)

I have the belkin 3in 1 stand and love. Having to us the xr burner at the mo and not having a watch has made it a bit redundant, but I can wireless charge the phone still by placing it on the bit where the AirPods would go!

For those who will be restoring from iCloud backup and not setting up as new, is it recommended to upgrade to iOS 16 first on the “current” iPhone or doesn’t it really matter?

From what I read the Belkin over all charges the iPhone Pro about 30 minutes faster then the regular Apple mag safe charger plus it comes with a 2m cable which is perfect for me.

Normally I avoid Belkin products like the plague but this is the only one I can see which is certified by Apple and truly does give 15w charging.

I ordered the iPhone 14 Plus in Red which according to the votes im the only one so far lol.
Delivery is 7th October.

I put my pre order in 10 minutes after the site went live and the 14 plus is the only model with a 4 week wait.

I normally go for the pro max models as they provide the larger screen but this year they gave us the non pro with the larger screen

The prices are getting a bit ridiculous here in thee uk but as im not too bothered about the camera, the updated A16 chip and the dynamic island so im happy with the standard 14.

Hi, the plus is actually launching on the 7th of Oct and not next week. Yes you’ve got a 4 week wait but you’re getting it on launch day

I would upgrade first, I think it’s better they are on the same version of iOS, hopefully less chance of an issue occurring.

Doesn’t really matter. Backups are forwards compatible.

I initially read that as meaning you are not going to update to iOS 16 until iPhone 15 🤪

……but yeah am going to wait until the 14 arrives too.

I’m going to set up as new for the first time too. Been carrying backups back from the iPhone 4 days. Also going to hold off updating and experience the new update on the 14.

I ain’t a fan of things going in my ear canal but love the AirPods gen 3

I'm usually the same, but as the silicon buds don't have a rigid middle I can cope with the AirPods Pro.

I’ve got this and I use it everyday at work, have it on my desk and propped up. Really good little charger and don’t get any issues with heat etc from it like some 3rd party chargers.

Got a silver 14 pro ordered for Friday. Only thing I’m dreading is sorting out my O2 esim as whenever I have to phone them to get a new one they never know what I’m talking about and I have to try 2 or 3 times. May have to take a trip to the store instead.
