Anyone who ordered from apple direct and secured a launch day slot, is their apple store app just saying “arrives”

i went on the online chat last night and they said the app is wrong its 16th at 8am the pre-order

Didn't happen, on Saturday morning my line was dead and no sign of the new one. Turns out they had swapped to the new eSIM while it's still in the post.

They promised to swap it back, didn't work either and I've just got back from an O2 shop where they helped me transfer my number to a physical SIM and it works again.

I don't understand why O2 issues eSIMs as physical packs with a printed QR code inside, it seems so backward!

They did that with mine twice. As soon as they put the order through it seems to swap to the new one and then takes 3-4 days to arrive in the post.

Mine says the same thing. If you scroll down a bit, it will show the delivery date. If you go to the order status page on Apple’s website, it will show the date as well. I got my notification from UPS this morning, so all is well :)

I was in the same position. Gone for their clear magsafe case as purple is my favourite colour and I've been wanting a purple iPhone Pro for years. Figured covering it up would be a shame.

I'm quite tempted with this and may pick one up later on, as I think the gradient of black to clear would look really nice with the Deep Purple. OtterBox iPhone 14 Pro Max Lumen Series with MagSafe - Black

Yeah I’ve ordered all three of those as well except for I’ve gone for the Space black 🙂

Apple's article that I posted earlier has all the information. Look at the "Use eSIM Quick Transfer" https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT212780

But if that doesn't work, you can use the My EE app to issue a new eSIM on the device that is already set up.
