She definitely takes it a bit far, but I do like how she keeps up the enthusiasm when reviewing non-Apple products and maintains an unbiased view of them.

I agree, I prefer reviews where people are balanced and can give their honest opinion. I'm actually finding lately I only really watch and handful of people. Tom Tech Chap, Mrwhosetheboss, MKBHD and Danny Winget. Danny is really good and his videos are based in my favourite place in the world - Orlando FL
iJustine channel is an easy watch IMO, and it's nice to see so much enthusiasm, even if it's not 100% legit amongst so many videos trying to knock the products or using click bait titles etc...
On a side note, just got these crazy fast speeds from smarty when I dropped my daughter off at school this morning.

Well I said I wasn't going to install iOS 16 until I got my new phone, but the curiosity got the better of me

Morning all! I haven't been in one of these threads since the iPhone 12 thread. Happy to finally be posting here. I had a few issues remembering my forum login details and got locked out a couple of times, had to renew the domain associated with my email address that had expired, you know, the usual! I've been frantically trying to keep up from the shadows, though.
I too had fun with preorders and the app not letting me in until someone on here kindly suggested switching off Wi-Fi and trying over 4G, which let me in instantly - so many thanks to whoever that was when they posted a hundred or so pages ago! I managed to snag delivery of a launch day 14 Pro in Space Black. I'm coming from a 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, so hopefully a relatively decent upgrade.
I feel like this is the year I'll finally put a case on my phone. I used Peel cases a long time ago (iPhone 7) and loved how thin they were. How much heft do the Apple cases add? And is there a difference in thickness between the silicon and leather ones? Or any other recommendations for thin cases?
Looking forward to consuming all the reviews tomorrow! I gave in and installed iOS 16 last night - the lock screen customisation and keyboard haptic feedback are welcome additions.

Without 3G it took an eternity to download anything especially if you couldn’t even get ‘Edge’. It probably took a month to use 1GB of data!

I have booked rebuy/DPD to collect my 13 Pro 128gb on Saturday. Getting £606.00 - declared as mint condition - it's only 6 months old, always had a screen protector on since it left the box and always been in a case, one tiny mark on top of the phone which should be fine
Not surprised that most of the votes are for the Pro models. The normal iPhone is for everyone else!
for anyone that has lost male sound, you need to go into settings, mail, notifications, customise notifications, and then you need to go into each account, and make sure that everything is switched on. They’ve changed it around ages ago. Hope this helps!

Exactly! I like that her channel is just pure joy and excitement. It's definitely a bit over the top at times, but I'd rather enjoy her enthusiasm than yet another clickbait negativity-focused video with titles such as:
- "The TRUTH about iPhone 14"
- "Watch this BEFORE you buy!"
- "10 problems with the iPhone 14"
- "Why I'm NOT buying the iPhone 14 Pro"
- "Skip the iPhone 14, it's all about 2023!"
- "The iPhone 14 is a DISAPPOINTMENT"
Even worse are the ones who have clearly fake iPhones (immediately after the event), or even what is clearly an upside-down 13 Pro Max with a badly cropped screenshot/mock-up of a 14 Pro Max... 🙄 Sadly, that seems to fool thousands of people with not a single comment calling it out.
