That wasn’t the experience I had trading in an iPhone 11.

First attempt exited as the phone screen went to sleep, nothing to do with the delay in the technician looking.

Second time it took 3 minutes but we got the payout quoted and it was seamless. Easy way to avoid the postal wait and potential issue of shipping a phone to get assessed.

I would utilise the service again.

I ordered deep purple 14 pro max, had all information pre-filled so just a matter of hitting submit at 1pm, during checkout delivery 16th, all done and dusted by 1:01pm, I received email confirmation, date changed to first week of October. Wasn’t impressed at all with that. Anyone else get this? Should have gone through my carrier at that point

EDIT: trawling through the comments seems it’s just me for whatever reason. Paid Apple Pay, money taken straight away, delivery last week of September first week October.

Not my experience.

I logged in at 1303 and started my finance application and still shows 16th delivery.

The finance acceptance came through at 1307 so you get an idea of timescales to complete.
 
I’ve changed iPhone size many times. This time, I’m going from the 13 mini to the 14 Pro Max. Can’t wait! Arriving on Friday direct from Apple.

The Max is going to feel like a tablet. 🤣

By the way, I recommend the Cyrill “Ultra Color Mag” on Amazon to anyone who’s looking for a cheap, but sturdy MagSafe case. I used to buy Apple cases and they’re lovely, but I hate how easily they crumble as soon as they’re damaged (both leather and silicone).

I had an option to take 30% off at checkout, taking it to just £13.99! I tried a few Cyrill cases with the 13 series and they’re great value for money. It’s the more fashion-orientated sub-brand of Spigen.

I‘m actually only going to use the case for more risky situations, such as nights out. However, I’ll be using the trusty ESR glass screen protectors all the time. Got them half price thanks to that code someone shared. Ended up getting 4 packs of them! 🤓

At that stage I was done and dusted, paid via Apple Pay. Thought the time scale might shift but nope still showing same. Tempted to cancel and go elsewhere but may have left it too late now.

So you were all complete and had your email confirmation at 13.01 and still had your date slip into oct??!

Yes??? Can’t figure it out. I thought it was normal until I came across this thread and it appears to be only me.

Any know would doing trade in cause this?

Ahh that’s good to hear! I may still give it a go and see how it goes for me. As you say, I’d much rather prefer a solution that doesn’t involve posting my phone off to be inspected…
 
Bit the bullet and ordered these full coverage screen protectors too, I know it would 100% annoy me like anything if the ones which come bundled with the case are not full coverage too, so better to have plenty of spares I guess.
