Spoke to Amazon online chat about my order with a pending delivery date. Needless to say, I have very little faith it will be ready to delivery on Friday. They kept contradicting themselves, but I THINK it sounds like because the one I ordered is now de-listed, I’m probably in the first batch? They just can’t confirm delivery date until they presumably get their stock from Apple.

I have also found that they can’t say anything other than what we can see on the website and have zero knowledge of stock levels

Thanks so much @Jinjin after several attempts to bypass the MM chatbot I eventually got through to MM human. Annoyingly the chatbot is set up with limited options to choose and only at a one point do they let you type anything in!

Anyway they tried to help me get my password reset unsuccessfully (suggested all the same stuff as here on cache etc) and they couldn't push through the saved quote so I asked that they extend my trade in date on my original order placed on 29/8 and they agreed to extend by 7 days. I think only because I couldn't get into my account but this is the best result because that is the order I applied the UPGRADE22 code to so am back up to £585 trade in price (all things going well at inspection). Phew!

I photographed the chat screen on the 7 days extension for proof!

Music Magpie - does anyone know how long between the Royal Mail reporting your package as being delivered (which apparently doesn't mean it's reached the warehouse) to your order actually being scanned? My order was reported as delivered on Sunday evening but this means it's still at the Royal Mail delivery office before that is forwarded on, with all the other packages being sent, to MM. Would have thought by today they would have received it and 21 days deadline is fast approaching. I posted it last Tuesday but obviously slight delay due to PO strike.

They say to allow 7 days for it being received in house - I take this to mean from posting date.

Mine also been there since Sunday evening. Hopefully the next day or two. When is 21 days up?
 
Anyone ordered from Currys?

Ordered Pro 256 Deep Purple and wondering do they dispatch today or tomorrow since the confirmation email said estimated delivery is Thursday 15 Sep.

It was 24 hours (on a working day) from when I got the email to say it was “delivered”.

Are you collecting from a store? Reason I ask is that sometimes it shows the date it’ll be delivered to store ahead of next day collection.

Just did that. Go to customise on the Lock Screen, select the weather one, then click add: in the popup, select "Customise Home Screen" not "set as wallpaper pair". You can then choose a different background for the Home Screen to the one you're using on the Lock Screen.

It only allows {“original”, “colour”, “gradient”, “photo”} but none of the inbuilt images?

You seem wise in the ways of EE - I ordered a 14ProMax on Saturday, and so far I still only have the original email with the xko order number.

Would you advise calling them or taking any other action to get a proper tracking number?
 
Right we just gotta make it to 2pm tomorrow!

Then the reviews will keep us busy until Thursday then all the tracking fun starts. Not for me as I'm collection but I'll live through you guys.
