They do basically the same but a true VPN you can manually select what country you want to use (for accessing US Netflix for instance) and also can be used on any device in your household if you set it up on your actual router like you can with something like NordVPN whereas Apple Relay is just for your iPhones or iPads and you cannot manually select what country servers to use.
If it’s delivered by Dpd or DHL and not a standard Amazon courier you know it’s coming straight from Apple. I think almost all launch day devices will come from Hinkley
Worth bearing in mind, when I spoke with them on Live Chat they emphasised you have to allow 7 working days - although on all their other comms it only states 7 days.
Now that you mentioned old accounts it’s made me check how long everyone’s been around! .. I’m surprised I’ve been here that long! … do you have to pay to be ad-free now? .. good that they kept original members on free. From what I gathered from their message to me is that once delivered to the main RM DC hey are batched together into a big consignment and then sent as a pallet to MM.
This is my first year for delivery and not collection. I'm quite excited about tracking the delivery
I believe my offer expires at end of the day Thursday, although they don't actually give an actual date on their comms. I thought allowing 9 days for it to arrive and be scanned was plenty using Royal Mail 48Hrs. Hopefully, will be processed tomorrow otherwise I might be having words with them about delays in the processing of my order that is not of my making.
Hmm I have it on mine … just choose the ’both screens’ option. I changed it pretty fast though as the weather here is grey and cloudy a lot of the time! .. rubbish for a lock screen and have now moved to the earth one which I LOVE! .. it has twinkly lights in the night time 😁
Jumped to Nord here too a fair while back .. ridiculously cheap price for 3 year commitment and they’ve been really good (Especially with Netflix needs from the US!)
If anyone is going to any events soon and need to use the AXS Ticket app. Check to ensure it works. It broke with iOS 16 and spent the last hour getting this resolved with AXS.
