Off topic but since we were only discussing cars anyway…

With the help of that FlightRadar app, I just saw the Queen’s plane go over. About 30 miles away. A tiny spot in the sky but a memorable moment nonetheless.
Yes it flew directly over my house at about 19,000ft so I was able to see it.

Has anyone managed an earlier collection than me this Friday? After the disaster trying to preorder, I'm there for a 8.45am pick up.

14 pro space black but I only have a rubbish old phone to take photos with.

8.15 here. There are some here who have got 8.00.

another off topic but does anyone use a nike sports loop for their watch?

looking for a band for use when working out etc (over the leather one). Is fabric/woven of sports loop more difficult to maintain than a silicone band/loop?

always found it easier to wipe and clean the silicone sports band when I had my S5, but I do like the look of the Nike sports loop (here)
I have one Nike Sport Loop (the black one with reflective thread from a few years ago) and a lot of Apple Sport Loops, they are fantastic for working out (I have even used them for marathons).
They are easy to clean and I think they are the most comfortable band (even more so than the Braided Solo Loops).
I am wearing the Charcoal Sport Loop at the moment.

When I get the Apple Watch Ultra next week I am interested to see what the Alpine Loop band will be like.
Wondering if it will be good for running and swimming...or will I have to buy the Trail Loop as well.

I'm confused to whether any UK models are coming without the sim tray. The UK apple website lists both with and without and EE were talking about exclusively using an eSIM, which I don't mind. But when I spoke to Three they aren't using eSIMs yet so they will have to have a tray. Maybe EE supplied phones come without and the rest come with?

It’s only the US at the moment offering eSim only iPhones everywhere else still has the sim tray

UK models all have the sim tray, but you can also use eSIM in the UK phones. So you can use what is best for you.
I am already on eSIM and they will probably change all to eSIM in the next year or so when more carriers can support it.

I ordered over the phone and won’t get a tracking number until DPD have it
Absolutely, and I am sure everything will go smoothly, but given what happened to a lot of people last year (and, frankly, this year too going by the EE forums), it would be nice to have the psychological reassurance of being able to log in to EE and see this:

rather than the "Uhh, idk dude, you sure you ordered anything? That order number doesn't exactly ring a bell" that the site is giving me now.

That's what I thought, but the UK apple website lists both. Not that it really makes much difference, all the networks will be using eSIM soon enough anyway.

Has anyone got any experience with the Nudient Thin cases? I’ve already got the Midnight Apple silicone case on order, but I’ve been tempted by (read: have already ordered) Nudient’s Ink Black and Concrete Grey cases for my Space Black 14 Pro.

Unrelated: Is there some sort of Cases Anonymous support group I can join?!

No but they have come up on my instagram feed in the past (and no doubt will do again tonight/tomrrow).

I like the look of these transparent cases https://www.nudient.co.uk/product/form-case-iphone-13-pro-clear-blue?d

I am hoping at least 'someone' here will see something from Amazon over the next 48 hours. I mean.. they must have sold some to someone. I'm hoping they will just come from Hinckley like the rest of them.

I’ll let you know as soon as I see any movement on mine.

It’s just infuriating that they can’t say something like “stock confirmed”. Or how they can even sell them without knowing stock levels beforehand in the first place. Why is that allowed?!
