I've always found them accommodating when changing things like payment methods etc
Apple are pretty decent within the 14 day window, I remember purchasing on launch day, opened it in-store and dropped the bloody thing on the floor and scratched the top corner. I went to see someone and said there was a chip on it they said ok not probs we can return under the 14 day policy and sell a new one to you!!!

Don't get me wrong reading the reviews will be interesting and pass the time but does anyone here actually use them to make decisions from? Most here will have already ordered one or have already made the decision based on the specs that they are happy with what they have and to hold on. Will one persons view of a supplied sample actually make anyone change their mind?
i guess its just part of the hype, yes everyone here has ordered but some people tend to cancel orders etc as well, happened last year after reviews came out. I'm just excited and its one of the stages before we get our devices!

anyone found any protective cases for the new AirPods yet?

I think (not 100%) the case is the same size - but you may want cutouts for the speaker etc in the new case.

EE is playing with fire lol.

Copy Paste below from EE Community.

Spoke to a live chat agent who specifically said

“Apple has delayed with 28 days for providing stock”

“Non of the customers will get there order's before 28 days”

ridiculous after being told over the phone at pre order it will be here launch day, and the advisor over the phone wanting to charge a £6 delivery fee so I did and he said “I’ll get that delivery booked for Friday for you” and my preorder was complete and confirmed literally about 20 mins in
What did you order, I dont know if this is true. If you order the iPhone 14 Pro right now it gives release day delivery. iPhone 14 Pro Max are the ones that are showing 21 days.

Also. EE have delivered a number of times without issues. The problem with EE starts because they dont communicate well with each team.

So I bought a 14 Pro for home delivery on Friday.. I have changed my mind and want a Pro Max, so I will have to go to store to exchange. By the time the delivery arrives, it may be out of stock (there will be some available in store initially), so wondering if I should purchase online and reserve for pickup and then do the exchange once there. To further complicate matters, I used a fair few gift cards for the 14 Pro, so if I buy the Pro Max on a credit card (just to secure it), can I essentially return both and then rebuy that same Pro Max using the gift card refund?
Hopefully there is some in stock in store have you got some insider info or something?

Apple really know what they are doing and next year we will probably see USB-C on top of more nice features, which will make us upgrade again.

I really don’t get the bloodthirst for USB-C. I absolutely agree that it should and will happen eventually and it will be much handier just having one cable for everything, but would that really be the thing that makes you upgrade? The convenience of a cable?

lol when I rang up to order I was the first person he dealt with so better get it on Friday.

It would be for me, at the moment when I go away I take my bedside 3in1 charger with me which is USB-C, if I want fast charge I have to then find a USB-C to lightning cable to charge phone, if the phone already had USB-C I can just unplug from the 3in1 and attach straight to phone like I can with my MacBook and iPad. For this year it is more of an annoyance that they haven't changed Airpod Pro 2 over to USB-C.

Mine are both Pros so im all good. Spoke to them this morning and mine looks good.

Most of the folks panicking on EE forum have ordered Pro Max lol.

Also my EE app is showing account in credit and all moonies have been processed.

Not long now. Next 24 hours critical lol.

It'll enable much faster data transfers (maybe even Thunderbolt speeds like the current iPad Pros) e.g. for getting video off the phone.
