EE use DPD, I have never had anything from them shipped via RM apart from SIM cards.

Hopefully when reviews drop later on we will get a better picture of how the colours look. If Space Black turns out to be the black I hoped for I may have made the wrong decision in Purple but time will tell.
Make sure it isn't plugged in before licking.. could be dangerous.

Cancelled his/her's existing order and placed a new order to be dispatched via DPD

Surely sending a phone out 2nd class post opens them up to "phone not received" claims.

If I don’t get a “Dispatch expected within 24 hours” notification before 5pm today I’m going to phone EE when I finish work and find out what’s happening.

I don’t mind Lightning at all and I do love how durable it is. I work with Macs in a corporate environment and it worries me how worn out the USB-C ports get on them. They eventually become quite loose and crap-feeling.
I usually only travel with my phone, AirPods and watch, so not having USB-C isn’t a bother to me. And we’ve got loads of Lightning cables at home and in the office. And I usually charge via wireless anyway!
There is always in store stock. Online orders are a completely separate allocation.

Rang EE just now. Spoke to a very helpful lady.
She confirmed status of both my orders has been changed from 'Open Sales Order' to 'Picked' so very likely I'll be getting my devices on launch day and via DPD.

My 12 Pro delivery from Sky got delayed the night before launch. I was so disappointed! Ended up collecting one from Regent Street the following day.
I also only trust Apple for Day 1 now!
what would be great the iPhones could charge with the watch charing puck too... now that the new AirPods can, it would be great to have a single portable cable for them all!

You definitely will be, used to work for EE and picked means warehouse are just waiting on DPD to collect from them.
Not entirely sure the puk would offer much charge, it will take you back to the 5w charging days. Even Qi charging is faster!!!
I have had a lot more luck with the Web Chat from EE - took about 35 minutes to get through on the phone, they told me that they couldn't tell me anything, and that there was 'no such thing' as an order number beginning with 02; got through to web chat much quicker and they were able to give me the details immediately lol:
