What model are you getting?

It’s excellent. I prefer now to iCloud restores. Only issue is both devices are out of action for the length of the transfer.

You can do it over wifi or lightning to lightning.
Never heard of a lightning to lightning cable, can’t see them on Amazon either.

Where can we get them from and is that faster than Wi-Fi?

Question for me fellow members who are upgrading via EE.

Has your plan changed? If yes please check if all your discounts are applied under add ons lol.

Two bits of info for you this morning.

iOS 16.0.1 is out only for the iPhone 14 models

And live actives is launching in October with 16.1

Too late here need 16.1b1!!!!

The 4 then 5 was peak apple design imo

Remarkable though how similar the 13 Pro and 5S look side by side with the screen off on the desk though.

So I have checked the EE tracking for my phone and there is no change yet.

My watch 45mm tracking advises it has been dispatched but I have had no communication from them at all. My watch 41mm has had no movement

Late to the party as ID mobile messed up my wife’s 13 pro order (got the 13pro instead of the 14, but ID have none in stock even though they took the order :mad:)

Are they any deals on the 14 pro 128gb that are worth considering? Best I’ve seen is £47 a month £210 upfront

And how small is 5s was! And that was the first ‘taller’ iPhone right?

Yeah! It was a nice change from the 4's form factor, I think the 5 series was beyond beautiful, that's why I kept mine - only phone I've kept.

EE here.

No change, still can't track with either of the numbers they gave me, My Plan still in limbo (£0 per month lol), and no DPD notification.

Looks like I missed it this year boys and girls.

Morning all. Does anyone know if an O2 eSim can be transferred via the iPhone next to new iPhone method?

Last year I made a hash of the transfer as I finally got an eSim from a O2 store but ended my phone service before transferring to the new iPhone so I couldn't receive the security code text messages to set up the new eSim. Doh! I had to go back to the store to get them to do it. The O2 eSim process seems antiquated compared to what I'm reading on here a out EE's and it's making think about changing networks. I only need the eSim for my personal number so I can have my work sim in the same iPhone.

I don’t believe you can. O2 has the worst implementation of eSIM.

How well does device to device work? Is it a smooth process and how long does it take when you’ve used up over 100gb?

Have always used iCloud restore so am keen to try a way where I don’t have to log back in to EVERYTHING! Thanks
It is a very smooth process, you just let the phones guide you through the process.

It will take longer with larger GB, but I have never tried with larger GB as I always cleared off most of my photos/videos before hand. I prefer keeping new photos/videos taken by the new camera (starting fresh).

The banking apps are a pain the butt to set up again, hence why I prefer the device to device route.

Same situation here

They screwed me over last year too

Thanks - that’s very good to know - I don’t have a lightning to lightning cable unfortunately.

How long has it taken you in the past and what level of storage usage did you have?

Sorry and also does the sim have to be in the new phone while doing the device to device transfer?

Sim doesn’t need to be in it will activate during the transfer.

I have 128gb devices with about 110gb full. Takes about 45 mins.
