Not quite. The 5 was the first taller phone. I remember preordering in a 3 store in Bolton the week before then going back the following week to collect. One of the very few times purchased on contract.
After that it was the XS from CPW as both wife and I went in to get one each a day after launch day.
That 'skilled contributor' was me, and that was a title given by the EE forums based on the number of posts. If you think I am bad try having a chat with Chris_B - you will love him.
I do indeed feel you are scaremongering, the EE forums are full of people (including me) who were let down by EE last year and you are going on there saying as you haven't heard by 8am that is it for the day and no more phones will be sent.
You do need to relax a little and stop being a negative nelly

Always good to have as a back up. I use mine as a burner for when i need to give someone a phone number but don't want them knowing my real phone number. It's great.
I have already got an Apple Leather case in Midnight Black for my incoming 14 Pro. However I also purchased those LK ones to take a punt. Its only £10.99 and apparently Magsafe.

So ordered the 14 pro in black 128Gb from EE as an upgrade, got a good deal with no upfront charges and kept my 20% NHS perk just had DPD notification then all the EE notifications about changing to the new plan, so excited!!!
Although on checking the app ive a £190 credit which will be knocked off the next bill 🤷♂️ Although i did order the watch ultra at that cost and i've paid that so ....
