We’ve had a delonghi bean to cup for a few years and love it! Experimented with loads of beans but actually settled on standard lavazza ones as our favourites!

Love taking a flat white to work in the morning though

previous years we've had early DPD notification (via their app) for apple.com orders... hasn't happened so far.

around midday the apple.com order status have started to change... this then has a tracking link (which goes to syncreon and then has a link off to DHL in most cases)


later in the afternoon/early even you'll get direct DHL notifications.

Long time forum stalker, but going to jump into the convo. Super excited about my new iPhone 14 Pro. I just went for the basic version and would have upgraded to the 256GB model if the prices matched the US, but I opted for the 128GB as I'm buying it out right and it's already super expensive

Bought straight from Apple on pre-order day, expecting it tomorrow. I signed into my account today to be greeted with some confusion.
The main account page says I'm getting it Monday the 19th, but the progress page says I'm getting it tomorrow (Friday).

Morning all!

And so it’s finally here, tracking day! We’re just 24 hours away from people beginning to receive their phones.

If it’s anything like previous years we should start seeing the lucky DPD’ers start getting notifications in their DPD app in a few hours. Hopefully around lunchtime, our order statuses will start to change and point off to tracking for dhl. It will probably be early evening onwards that the actual tracking kicks in and starts to update. This will be around the time when people collecting in store will see their notifications of collection tomorrow. It’s all happening today!

Buckle up, keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times and hold on!

I got mine from Sky at 12.09am last night! Still don't trust DPD as they always downgrade it to a 2 day service here in NI but here's hoping...

Due to the Apple Store debacle this year (store wouldn’t even load for me for 20 mins refreshing furiously on four different devices on two different networks) for the first time ever I’m not buying direct. I’ve ordered one from Amazon and one for my wife from Currys (yeech) both supposedly for delivery tomorrow.

Comments much further back in this thread said that last year the Amazon and Currys tracking only appeared late the night before, so I’m hoping they’re both still on track.

Also got a Watch 8 coming tomorrow from Apple (still PFS), an Ink leather case and a Succulent silicone case (came yesterday) and some ESR screen protectors (from Amazon £4 for the three pack using a code posted earlier on this thread).

I just went back and looked at last years order for the 13 pro max. I ordered it on pre-order day and it wasnt delivered until 30th september. So seems like i had to wait a bit last year

I’m TH-Holic - love their French Vanilla latte and have had nothing but good experience with their breakfast wraps / muffins + of course their signature donuts.

You must of had a bad one mate!

The image on the left is far sharper than the image on the right. In the right image, the dark sections in the red circle are blurred whereas in the left, they are sharp.

Also, in the right image, above the word "Pro", you can barely make out the black lines on that object, whereas in the left image, they are much more distinguishable.

Oh that is a weird phenomenon. I absolutely agree that, at that size, the 13 Pro looks superior. That does change when you view the original (albeit, resized) image on Imgur.

There is much more fine detail on the 14 Pro, but much less sharpening applied - which is a good thing because it's not required.

You can particularly see how much sharpening has been applied by the 13 Pro in the last image. Look at the tree-line against the sky. That strange 'halo' effect is caused by the sharpening, and it's not apparent at all in the 14 Pro image.

Either way, the forum-resized 13 Pro images do look better than the 14 Pro but that's likely down to a poor resize algorithm. Because there is actually more detail and less sharpening in the 14 Pro image, it comes out looking blurred when, in actuality, it isn't.
