First post wondering if anyone can help.

Currys just cancelled my order for the iPhone 14 pro max silver 128gb.

Said Apple haven’t fulfilled the stock order and asked if I wanted to wait or take the refund plus a £50 gift card.

I took the refund.

Does anyone know if there’s anywhere else to order from with decent lead times or is it the same everywhere else?

Ok cool, I was just thinking about changing the colour. I pre-ordered from Apple online, it’s suppose to arrive tomorrow.

take it back to store, try your luck when you do and ask if they have the colour you want available!

If I want to return my iPhone 14 pro max, but it hasn’t been delivered yet. Can I just refuse to accept delivery? Or do I need to accept and then initiate a return?

I have always accepted the parcel and initiated the returns myself

No update from Amazon. Why do I have a feeling like they completely overdone pre orders this year. They stopped taking pre orders for the Pros in any configuration. Makes me wonder if they screwed it this year to the point in which they don’t even know when the current orders will be going out

talking about returns... I sent the storm blue silicone case back (couldn't be bothered to go into store. Dropped it off at UPS desk on Tuesday, received by apple yesterday and confirmed arrival email, refund issued but can take 5 working days to get back.

As a follow up to my complete clusterf*** that was trying to trade my iPhone 12 in to MM via their SmartKiosk and only being offered £97, ReBuy picked the iPhone up yesterday and I've just had the email confirming it's been checked and will be paid at full quote price later this evening.

Sounds like Amazon with every major product launch ever. They’re great when products are in stock and ready to go, but they seem quite incompetent at managing pre-orders on any large scale.
