I had it on a tripod behind the Mac. It’s so seamless. It just appears as an available camera and then makes a ding noise on the phone. The screen stays off whilst you use it.

Exact reason I was happy to get DPD. Last Apple product I had delivered by DHL (MBP14) was 5:30pm! By comparison DPD are usually lunchtime-ish for us.
I would be most concerned about people laying eyes on your parcel !!!!!!

US delivery thread is at 725 pages. I'd have expected better of them with 5 times the population of the UK. Perhaps we're more obsessed after all.

Maybe it’s my stupid email provider but for the people who have purchased from Currys and haven’t received the order Items are on their way email, Check your Junk folder. I’ve been waiting for the email for hours and I idiotically checked Junk and sure enough it was there.
Of course they do, that's definitely not complete bull***t from them.
Not that I'm angry with them cancelling my launch day order at the last minute, blaming Apple, not offering any goodwill credit, and saying they'll send a colour I don't want instead at some unspecified future date. Not at all.
For me it shows pickup for tomorrow is ready, when i got the notif and went into the app it was showing processing, i just killed the app and reopened for it to show the pickup is ready message
No one knows for sure, best to check at 6am for stock as I’d guess that would be quite reflective of what’s available on the day
