Phew. I was panicking thinking why is not shifting. Anyone in a similar position last year? If yes, did you status change to “dispatched” late into the evening? Hopefully ours changes soon.
 
Seeing all this Music Magpie stuff is making me worried now.

I’m taking a 13P 256gb to a smartDrop kiosk over the weekend and I didn’t realise but there some scuffs (not scratches, are there differences?) on the band. Ironically you can only see them if it’s clean lol. Should I be worried? 😰

2 year old iPhone 12 Pro i took to the machine had some micro scratch and a ding on the edge of rear camera surround.

All went ok and got full price.
 
I ordered with giffgaff today for delivery tomorrow, so hoping for a dispatch notification and DPD tracking later tonight/early tomorrow.

Regretting updating my 13PM to iOS 16.1, but I'd be surprised if Apple didn't release iOS 16.1 for iPhone 14, if it's not already available.
I get you want it on release day but paying £100 more than RRP makes me 🤢

I was hoping my watch had progressed from being collected in china.. alas it’s all quite on the dhl front, hopefully on a plane crossing Asia towards us…
 
Not me checking how long it takes to drive from Hinckley to Aberdeen, so I can find out when the DPD lorry might get to the local sorting hub.

Do you ‘plug it in’ in some way? Assume it needs to be connected to the device to see Imei, if still on find my iPhone etc?

Finally caught up! Phew, what a day you guys have had in here! Had an email from CPW earlier saying my (sim free) order had dispatched via DPD. No tracking info as yet but looks like I’m good!
Message them on Twitter and they‘ll give you your tracking number

Music Magpie - ABSOLUTE CROOKS

I know others have had good experiences but I have been well a truly conned by them and now out of pocket by a huge amount.

I sent them an immaculate iPhone 13 Pro Max, I mean absolute mint condition, almost as perfect as the day I bought it from Apple. High-quality Tourras screen protector installed on the day I purchased it, always in a shockproof case, I even had a camera lens protector installed as I am so OCD about my tech. Never dropped and never mishandled, literally no scratches on stainless steel case apart from normal "micro Scratches" and even they were minimal. If I received my iPhone as refurbished I would have been made up - hell it still had 100% battery health.

I sent it so highly packaged - in the original Apple box which I taped shut, that was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped, then placed in a box and parcel taped within an inch of its life.

After rather suspicious delays between delivered status and they received it and after an inspection found the screen chipped, scratches on the screen, and a crack. Offer reduced from £700 to £143 as they deem the damage that bad. When challenged they have shown me photographic evidence and I can swear that the screen they showed was not the screen that was on my phone. My screen had zero scratches due to the screen protector and no chips - I closely inspected it at the point of despatch and polished it with a lint-free cloth. I reiterate that it was the definition of mint condition. Further, it was so over-packaged that I cannot see how it could have been damaged in transit.

I am devastated (strong words but it's how I feel) - I have zero recourse as they claim that's the phone they received (possibly it is but something amiss has happened in the meantime). There is nothing I can do but reject their offer and receive a damaged phone back that I swear has a screen on that is not mine. Resale value is now hugely impacted, this is not the phone I sent them, and I am out of pocket by a huge amount. They will not entertain any liability and just say that's the phone I sent - the IMEI number matches.

What can I do - seems to be absolutely nothing.
I had issue where I sent perfect condition iphone (had photo proof) used correct packaging etc and they smashed up my back and refused to admit fault and fobbed me off to Royal Mail, eventually Royal Mail accepted fault and gave me a full refund to the value MM quoted me and I got to keep phone lol took a few months to sort out though grrr

The courier company I work for (which I know you'll have heard of!) has depots in the north of Scotland too. The latest our trailers arrive at the Service Centres is around 11am. That's unusual and is often down to some kind of traffic incident, but things arriving on that trailer will still go out for delivery the same day.

Under normal circumstances, we would be hoping to get all the trunk trailers on the road around midnight.
 
When reset to factory settings IMEI is accessible by repeatedly pressing the i at the bottom of the screen I’m told.
I did basic setup as per their to do things and then just use *#06# for all the info and then you just put the iPhone inside.

And if you not happy with their valuation. There is an onscreen button Return My Device. Press that grab your iPhone and go do some Asda shopping.

Left Hinckley at 3pm this afternoon, so probably not going to see anything till the morning, fingers crossed I wake up to a nice one hour “slut” tomorrow morning.
