Yeah like you I had to reach out to them as I was getting worried about the lack of information. They said they'd escalate it to fulfilment centre and then it seems, a few hours later, I got that email. The purple iPhone has all configurations available on release date till midnight so I'm shocked nobody has seen any movement. I ordered mine within 30 minutes as I had issues with ordering my first choice, the gold one. Keeping fingers crossed we see some movement at around midnight as it's release date. We may start receiving them from Saturday I reckon
DHL received it at 16:07 and haven't done anything else since, but I guess it's just on a pallet waiting to be broken up into regional distribution trucks for overnight travel so not panicking.
Never had DHL deliver an iPhone before from Apple, used to always be a haggard looking UPS guy who had been hurling iPhone boxes at people all day and had a thousand left in his van. DHL in the past have managed to "deliver" parcels to a house half way down the street and send a photo of some ghastly looking feet as proof it was delivered to me, so I hope they've improved their delivery drivers number skills. And given that lady in number 14 a pedicure, it looked like she was ready for Halloween...
I’m in exactly the same boat - DHL received at 16.07 and 0 movement since. I’m glad some early posts have provided some comfort on the lack of movement till the morning of but really do wish it was DPD as you know where you stand !
Don’t like not being able to see the journey as it really doesn’t help my logistical OCD that kicks in between 12am -6am

I've just checked my emails for my 2020 iPhone Pro order.
Ordered on preorder day at 1:41pm - 16th October.
Received dispatch notification at 2:37pm on the day after launch day.
Received the parcel at 6:39PM on the day after launch day.
So while this might indicate you could get a delivery on Saturday, it also indicates that your dispatch notifications could come as late as tomorrow afternoon for same-day delivery. If you ordered soon after they went live, I still see no reason you wouldn't be getting a delivery tomorrow.

Just the phone, the driver brings padded packaging that the phone goes into. He then seals it into another bag in front of you.
Remember to ask for a receipt with the new tracking details so you can track it to ReBuy (mine didn't give me the tracking details, though ReBuy CS were very good and kept me updated by email after I contacted them).
Just got a dispatch confirmation and DPD tracking from Currys for my wife’s 14 Pro 128GB - but purple rather than the silver we ordered. I suppose at least they’ve sent something.
Maybe once opened you can call and tell them at that point they’ll give you some cash to keep it as it’s open. Sneaky but meh.
Seen a post earlier from someone who said they would send them a different colour from what they ordered.
I honestly can't believe the balls they have to just ship random colours out. It's not like there subbing your chicken and mushroom pot noodle for a beef and tomato one in an online ASDA shop. 😂

iPhone 14 Pro Max 128 GB Silver, just dont get why some peoples have dispatched from O2 that ordered after me, really annoyed - what’s the point in preorders if they dont have stock… if they dont have stock they should say there is a delay not say delivery estimate 16th :/
Just realised it was exactly a week that we were worrying about pre-order. Now we are worrying about delivery. Next week some will worry about the AW Ultra. This Apple worrying is never ending.
