OOO thank you for reminding me of the free TV+ I will defiantly need to use this and download some shows to watch on the plane in a couple of weeks. I have an 11 hour flight to fill

the first seasons of The Morning Show was good (2nd okay). Film wise we loved Coda and also Palmer was good.

I don’t think I’ve ever paid for Apple TV+ with all the various deals I’ve had. Got a years free with my iPhone 12, then 6 months free with EE and now got 5 months free with Barclaycard. Same with Apple Music - haven’t paid for it since the start of the year.

I got I think with the 12 too and they extended it a couple of times so am sure it was well over a year in the end. I’ve let it run on paid subscription but might cancel for a bit.

What should everyone be doing today - instead of playing with/waiting for their new phones? I should be fixing merge conflicts...

I've got the day off but still probably shouldn't sit in front of the computer all day. Just put in The Shires Greatest Hits on CD. Have the regular albums but found the GH in a charity shop for 50p.

Off to central London in about 90 minutes for my 14:00 collection slot (Space Black 128GB Pro Max).

In the past the queues have usually been quite long when I've got to the Apple Store for my collection but at least this time I can be grateful that it's not 5 miles long and that I won't be waiting 11 hours to get to the front!

Off topic joke that I heard on the radio this morning - "Queue" is quite an amazing word, one important letter at the front with 4 more waiting silently in line behind it.

Nice easy pickup from the Watford store. I arrived 30 minutes early and there was no queue. In and out in 10 minutes. Quite liking the back of the purple. Particularly the camera bump which is a lovely deep grape soda colour. Not so keen on the nail varnish side colour but I can live with it. Still I cannot complain, I was really not expecting to have one of these puppies in my hand today.
