This is not a drill, It's here!!!:D

Off topic (slightly) - But re MM, would you advise to post in as normal or use the smart kiosk? Thanks all.

I’m happy I downgraded this year to the Pro from the Pro Max. I don’t think I’ll miss the screen real estate having been playing around with my Pro since this morning but the battery life on the other hand may be another thing completely!
I’ve gone the other way.
I had the 12 pro max but went with the 13 pro, because of the weight/size in my pocket, but I’ve missed the size of the screen, so I’m going back to the max.

This thread is moving very fast, so apologies if I have missed the answer, but for those who have in-store pick up, has anyone managed to pick up earlier than their allotted time?

I tried calling Apple yesterday but they could only put me through to the store to ask. They were too busy to pick up the phone so I didn’t get to ask.

I’m able to get out of work a bit earlier but don’t want to waste my time, nor pay extra for parking!

Thanks and happy iPhone day!

Seems i'm in the minority here, but i stopped using screen protectors from iphone PM 12 onwards. My screens since then have remained pristine each year with multiple drops!

The glass apple use is very very resiliant these days.

(of course i'll drop my 14 PM just once and shatter the screen into a thousands pieces now i've said this 🤣)
I used a screen protector for the first time ever with my 13 PM having always thought them unnecessary before. The interesting thing I’ve found is that a decent glass one feels really good and actually maintains the oleophobic coating much longer than the real screen does (plus if it runs out you can just replace it). So the added protection is a bonus (even if maybe not really needed) but the feel of the screen protector is why I’ve stuck with it

So my Space Black Pro arrived about an hours ago. Device transfer completed and now pulling down installed apps. It's got a wee bit toasty!

Looks like I need to install the update- phone is connected to WiFi, but not allowing me to transfer my eSIM because it thinks it's not connected to WiFi.

EE eSim transfer is nice and simple... not

Won't transfer from old device, requesting new QR code sits and hangs on activation...

Oh great just what I wanted to read...
Can you request a new eSIM online and get the QR code or do you still have to visit a store or wait for them to post you one?

Not sure Jin kinda really want it
Have you got small hands or nah? I think I’ve got average size hands for a guy and even I thought my old PM 12 and 13 were cumbersome and hefty but the screen was the selling point. Now I have an iPad Air to take if I’m going anywhere, I don’t need that extra screen size on a regular basis.

Oh no - that sounds like the dreaded 'dust-gate' from last year whereby early ESR AMORITE adopters found their glass protectors also attracted lint around the edges of their screen protectors.

Seems like ESR's protectors are going down hill......

:(
Yeah feels like it, to be honest. The Armorite didn’t serve me well at all last year (had to use like 3 as they all broke in one way or another) so have been quite disappointed in general. I think I’ll change brands moving forward.

Even the glass doesn’t feel that nice on these standard ones. I can feel a certain friction when swiping, it’s just not gliding the way I think it should.
