My only worry was grey uniformity at low brightness (quite a common issue with the 13 Pro and Pro Max), but my new phone is perfect!

None of the issues from last year. No yellow tint, no grey uniformity issues, no speaker gap (glass alignment), no black spots in the back glass… can’t think of any more issues I saw. 🤔

I’m glad i got two cases for my Pro Max, the Forest Green leather case must have a manufacturing issue on the one I received as the bottom left corner of the phone will not fit in it.

The Midnight Silicone case fits perfectly.

Anyone else have any case issues?

I got the leather case and the Apple Clear case. The clear case will be going back as the buttons are so hard to press.

Really not impressed, first launch day iPhone delivery where the 1 hour slot has been fully missed!

Just taken delivery of my 14 Pro Max what a lovely phone just setting it up notice two dead or stuck pixels in the middle of the screen anyway contacted Apple this afternoon for a replacement unit.....
What ever happened to Apple customer service used to be so easy to ask for a replacement was passed from advisor, Applecare and technical support spent over 35 minutes.....

You do realise you can turn AOD off right ?

You can automate any Focus to come on/off at certain times - no need to remember to turn it on yourself.



Isn't only for apps that support the feature i.e. not all apps will at the moment.

I know I can turn it off.
Automation might be tricky for me as I am not a regular “I go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 6 am” person.

That and who knows what traffic etc they have had to deal with - It's probably out of the driver's control.

A very fair point. We all get caught up in the hype of it that we forget that 1. It’s just a phone and 2. The people delivering them are probably having the day from hell.

They really need to sort that out of Esim is the future

Applied the EZ fit screen protector and that’s the first time I’ve ever used a screen protector as I can never get them aligned properly and oh my … what an invention this is. Absolutely spot on and EZ

As for the colour, it’s absolutely beautiful, I love the shiny edge. Which brings me to a conundrum. Which case as one covers that up and one doesn’t. I may end up keeping both

Delivery drivers must be pretty smashed to today.
