Well, that beat my estimate of when the yellow screen comments would start by a couple of hours.

My only worry was grey uniformity at low brightness (quite a common issue with the 13 Pro and Pro Max), but my new phone is perfect!

None of the issues from last year. No yellow tint, no grey uniformity issues, no speaker gap (glass alignment), no black spots in the back glass… can’t think of any more issues I saw. 🤔

Was in my local apple store (MK) for the airpod pro crackle replacement at lunch today and it was pretty quiet. Genius guy said they were only doing preordered pickups although there was an old couple who walked in just before me.
Enjoy your new phones all, I’ll be getting a 14 in a month or so to replace my daughters 8+. That was my phone from launch so it’s done two of us very well.

MFA apps are a nightmare. What's the point in backing up MS Authenticator to iCloud if, when you restore from the backup, you have to login to their portal to re-register.

And don't get me started on Cisco's SecureX.

Mfa backup never works for me but I think that’s our company preventing icloud back ups possibly due to Apples servers being outside the eu.

I was worried about this and the main reason I skipped the IP13. Have you done the grey uniformity test with low brightness and all? Would you be able to provide some photos also?

Manchester was hammered but he refunded the case and picked up another was simple enough but had a little wait in the queue past my slot

100% agree and actually puts me off upgrading every year (kept my 13 Pro this year) for this very reason.

I've never understood this.

it does back up to iCloud but then you still need to have the QR code issued to enable it... so I might have as well just set up as new with the QR code.

this was only for my work MS accounts.

my other authenticator accounts transferred fine

Wow my #TeamDHL delivery driver is super super slow. My slot was 2:18-3:18.

It’s taken him 5.5 hours to do 55 drops and he’s got 30 more to do before getting to me. No chance he will make my slot so looks I’ll be getting mine late

Count yourself lucky; my driver is on delivery 69 of 210, estimated 7 hours away still (at just before 3pm) - looks like I'll be going to bed late tonight!

Second issue now is my watch didn't transfer over properly. Keep getting 'unable to pair' and then 'Apple Watch not found'. I've had to unpair from my old iPhone, then factory reset and now it's finally pairing on my 14PM. Hoping it restores the data or as a minimum keeps my fitness data (this was backed up to iCloud). Frustrating to say the least.

This happens when your old phone has a newer iOS version then the new phone.

The new phone (with older iOS) won't be able to see the Watch you backed up with your old phone (on newer iOS).

I think my iPhone isn't staying connected to Wifi... not sure if this an iPhone problem or a network problem - my iPhone 13 seems fine

I did that just the other week when I sold my 13PM and moved to the 13 Mini for the interim period. I’m super stoked to do it yet again! 😃

It wouldn't transfer one in the quick transfer menu. Kept saying the number was unavailable. So I waited for the new phone to restore. opened up the ee app and used that to transfer over the Esim

Lol rookie error.

Apps are syncing in the background so 'turned off' the screen. Only it kept showing the time etc. Kept thinking it was still on (trying to preserve the battery), but after about 5 mins of fiddling, realised it is AOD
