What model are you getting?

People seem to see this happening every year: give it a couple of days and see what you think then. There’s a lot of background stuff going on in the first couple of days (downloading data from iCloud, indexing etc.) that can affect the battery. Techcrunch’s review of the 14 / Pro comments on it and says that’s why they won’t comment on the battery life in detail as they’ve not had the phone long enough.
I’ve never noticed it so obviously that’s all. As I said may be due to my downsizing too so naturally the battery isn’t as big

How are you all faring with your battery life on 14PM?
Not having a great experience with battery life on my 14 PM. It might settle down or it might be because I’m running iOS 16.1 beta. My 13PM had terrible battery life after using iOS 16 though.
 
Is anyone going to use a smart drop kiosk today. I wonder if the payment system will be working today.
Unless you desperately need to recoup the money, I'd wait till next week.
The system seems a bit overwhelmed right now and a Sunday might have fewer staff.

Rather enjoy the day and go do some interesting things with the new phone. 🙂

Friday night I charged my 14PM to 100% then when I woke up Saturday morning it had 99% and in the evening 65%. I then charged it Saturday night and by this morning it only has 93% 😮 Not used at all between charging and checking the percentage this morning
Stop checking % and charging your phone and enjoy your new toy.
 
Anybody who did the MM SMARTDrop Kiosk yesterday, did you get just get an email from MM saying they haven't received your item? I double checked my account online and it does confirm that they 'have sent [my] payment', I've taken screenshots of the confirmation.

Hopefully just an automated email but worried it still came through!
 
At a MM kiosk. It’s been at least 10 minutes. Had to click try again once. Doesn’t look like anyone’s working. 😭😭

😮 I haven’t got this email, when did you get it I think we used the kiosk at pretty much the same time.

I saw in earlier discussions there were EE discount codes. Does anyone have any that can be applied to the Apple Watch £7 plan?

Email came through at 10:32am this morning. I locked in, ordered, my price last Saturday (10th)

I think as long As your order status in your account says they have processed the payment it should be good. I have just logged in and mine says it has been processed as well.

I've had the pitaka case in the past and agree that it's great but....a fingerprint magnet! Drove me nuts!
Yeah I get the fingerprint annoyance with these cases but I think it gets better over time. It’s defo the worst when the case is new
 
I do slightly miss the screen of the 13 Pro Max after downgrading to the Pro this year but ergonomics and comfort wise, the Pro is so much better for me. Also the battery on the Pro, which was one of my fears about downgrading, has so far been great despite background indexing, playing music, watching videos etc.

I’m glad I made the switch to the Pro from Pro Max overall…you’ll be compromising either way but for me this is the best option (though it may not be for you!).

Same here. Switched down from a 13PM to a 14 Pro and love it. I’ve not really noticed a downside yet but the smaller size is great (and I have big hands)
