I’m taking the gamble this year by checking store stock daily rather than order via apple website… will update as and when and if I do get my hands on a PM 🤣

For those who sent their phone off to rebuy, how do I track the phone? The guy gave me a sticker of some sort but doesn’t have any tracking and nothing on the DPD app.

I’m the same. The Dynamic Island is pretty cool but it’s more of a gimmick. The always on display is something we’ve done without until now. I can certainly see its usefulness on the Apple Watch not so much on the phone. From a privacy point of view it’s not ideal. Still it’s nice to be able to see certain information at a glance. So the 14 series is probably a little underwhelming but I’m still happy I upgraded.

I’m not sure if I like the ESR Halolock case for the 14 Pro Max. It seems a little thicker and more bulky then last years for the 13 Pro Max. It also seems to have more of a lip. I think I might need to seek out a slimmer case with less lip. It’s just so difficult to tell from online images. I only use a case to give better grip on the phone and to try and prevent scuffs and scratches. So something slimmer with less lip would be fine.

Did you set up payment for paypal or BACS? If the latter let us know if you get the payment bounced email in about an hour.

Yesterday it worked on the second attempt. Super satisfied overall, money in the account within 30 minutes.

I’ll give the Apple Watch as well. I am not sure whether I need to put the cable in there as well.

Same here, happy from the upgrade. But let’s don’t forget that the main upgrade has been in the camera system and in the processor. Not visible from day 1.

Yes I still need to use the phone more to experience the new A16 Bionic chip. Also I’ve not yet had a chance to take any photos. It would have been nice if I had this phone last month when I went on my Norwegian fjord cruise.

I think I am the opposite to everyone else, I am also a yearly upgrader and think this is a reasonably big upgrade this year (Camera enhancements, AOD, Dynamic island). When I went from 12PM to 13PM it felt like nothing had changed at least this year visually I can see a change.

After a couple of days now I've turned off the always on display, I just don't see the use in it and I don't like the widgets being one colour at all.

Overall though it's a hell of an upgrade from my 12Pro.

I like the AOD, but the conditions in which it turns off is anyone’s guess, and Apple’s support document is very vague. Maybe we’ll see it tweaked and become more customisable over time.

I switched from Three, where I hadn’t really had any issues, to EE primarily because their 5G network is better (especially in Newcastle), and the inclusion of Apple Music and TV for free.

There’s also an app called Airtime Rewards, where you link you EE account and your debit card and earn money back when spending at certain retailers. Since February I’ve earned around £30 back and that gets credited to my bill (you can credit to your bill once you’ve reached £10).

You need to toggle this under Camera in Settings and then when you go into the Camera app, select RAW in the top right corner.

Quick question … I had Apple Watch sale in my basket at MM but it’s disappeared! .. no matter, starting the order again but wondering if anyone has a code maybe? .. I used UPGRADE22 for my phone (which I ended up selling to my neighbour instead) so it won’t let me use that one. Thanks 🙂
