Hope we all get our delayed payments today from MM ha. I’m at work until 3 so will be ringing them when I finish if I haven’t had anything by then.

At the moment my 14 Pro is going back and I’ll stick with my 13 Pro Max

A little off-topic but I updated to iOS 16 over the weekend - a few features I have noticed and I like (I know there's loads more but these are just a few I like) :

  • Link Focus modes to different Lock Screens (and vice versa)
  • Enabling Haptic Feedback on the keyboard when you type
  • Turning off the 'Search' field on the Home Screen (under the icons). This field is pointless seeing that you can access the same Spotlight Search just by swiping down on the Home Screen anyway?!)
  • You can view the WiFi password of the network you are connected to

I love that I can automatically have a different wallpaper applied (of my daughter) every time I lock/unlock the screen - I have wanted this feature for a very long time.

Have to say that I hate the way they have implemented this TBH.

The fact that the %age shows inside the battery (black text on white background and then white text on black background on some other screens) is just plain FUGLY - I've turned that feature off. The 'Batteries' widget pretty accurately displays the level of battery remaining so having the %age inside the battery icon is just a duplication.

Pointless if you ask me.....!

This is the wrong thread to ask if we are caught up in the hype. We are the hype!!!

You can ask the same question every year seeing as the phones are mainly iterations these days so most of us know what we are buying into.

Pro Max (Black)
Ordered with in first five minutes on 9/9 but the system hung for a while processing my Apple Card. So I ended up with a delivery date of 10/3 - 10/10.
Got a UPS shipping notice today with delivery on 9/27. So a little early.

Im queued on Live chat with them now and im going to chase it up. Hopefully they can sort it out asap.

If you chase em up too and if all of us bombard them with the same issue it might get them to do something about it!

I guess we will get an email first to say the payment has been processed again.
