son getting to an age where he might need his own computer for school... I could see an iMac in my longer term future!

this year has been an extra-splurge year. watch and AirPods replaced after 3 years, got the new mbp last year, so it will just be back to the annual phone change for the next few years

I bought the AirPods Pro when they first came out. However, they developed a fault and despite being 3 years old Apple replaced them with a new pair. So, I've not really paid any attention to the new AirPods. Do you think they will be a big improvement?

I have my iPad Air which I use for watching tv whilst I’m working. My main desktop is my MacBook Pro M1Pro from last year. Use a Mac mini for Plex. I’d be in the market for a Mac mini with M2 should they appear.

ah I remember my first apple product being the original iPod.. that was a thing of beauty with its clicky wheel and screen.

using iTunes on a windows pc was a mare though

I've had crackles with 2 sets replaced by apple now.

better noise cancellation, longer battery and best of all, touch volume controls on the stalks!

how are people using focus mode? I've not really played with it that much. Have now set sleep focus on the 14 pro just so that the AOD goes off whilst in bed!

does the Apple Watch only do sleep tracking in sleep focus? even used a watch for that either so keen to try it

I still need to set them up on the 14 but for the last year I had em set up and loved em!

I had a work focus that changed my home screen to just one page of relevant work apps; I linked this to a lock screen once the public betas were out. I set up a couple more, like 'date night' that turned off all notifications/comms (except from a handful of key important people in my life) and changed my Lock Screen to a picture of sentimental value to my wife and I. My sleep focus was automatically set-up I'm pretty sure as I used the sleep schedule function in the clock app (I'm not even sure I know how I set this up back in the day?).

I'm looking forward to starting from scratch this weekend.

I'm in the same boat - estimated delivery is 26th October to 1st November. Apple are switching some production from the 14 to the 14 Pro, which may help some, but they've also just launched all models in a host of new countries, which will also need supply.

So my DP Pro Max has moved up slightly, now estimated 21-28 October. 5 days earlier than the original date.

how were they on the case?

I had a hard sheet incase case and when I took them off (the first time in 3 years since putting it on) the charging case had micro scratches on it still
