Found this little beauty in one of my archive boxes.

I still have one of these iPod Nano 6th gens. Still charge it from time to time. Wondering what could have been today had they used a lightning port and Bluetooth for AirPods. I guess that’s why we have the Apple Watch now

how were they on the case?

I had a hard sheet incase case and when I took them off (the first time in 3 years since putting it on) the charging case had micro scratches on it still

They have a soft lining on the inside so no damage to the AirPods case.

The lanyard was sold separately and the leather case still looks as good as the day I got it.

Before this I briefly had a Native Union rubber case. I didn’t like it as it attracted dust, so it was hard to keep clean and the top part kept coming off.

Next event after the October event I reckon will be the January event. A special one more thing event! The VR mixed reality headset! I am really really looking forward to that. My guess is based of Ming Chi Kuo rumour. Anyone interested in buying it?

It’s ridiculous how the two aren’t linked. They should just be looking at the same live database. For a delivery company there is no room to have various integration software between a mobile application and a website. They should both feed off the same data synchronously.

This is very standard with DHL - check again after midnight and you’ll see some movement and if the date says tomorrow you will likely get it tomorrow

I use the standard stock Mail app not sure why people don’t like it. That way I get my gmail and outlook all in one

I do like that band too!

will wait to see how they look on a standard S8... the colours of the lugs wouldn't match the space black

It might not look so bad even if the lugs don't match, hopefully someone will post photos when the band is released.

outlook has been bastardised by work's policies so can't do much with it

I mainly use the stock mail app, but sometimes searching on it is terrible so that's where the gmail app comes in.

I find the lanyard super helpful for getting the AirPods case out of pocket quickly and sometimes will loop it round my car key.

yep, exactly that... I hate to think how far some of my emails go back! the gmail app is great to find my old apple order emails from years ago to remember what happened and timings!

I used Canary Mail for aaaages, I loved the sync of accounts/settings between iOS and macOS - but recent updates ruined it. I moved to Outlook about 6 months ago. Not sure if Canary Mail sorted themselves out - but it might be worth checking out. Same with Airmail.

I'm yet to be sold on the idea of the metaverse.. I working in FS and we had Meta in to do a talk to us on what they're up to and the idea of retail banking in the meta verse... virtual branches etc...

the type of people who still rely on bricks and mortar stores are not the ones who are going to buy a VR headset!


I still hope apple car materialises into something real!

So my airpods pro 2 from Very are on the way, will be delivered by Yodel. They arrived at the national hub tonight at 10:45. It says estimated delivery Saturday, I wonder if that could possibly change to tomorrow?

As others, I use the stock mail app. I did go through a period of where I used Spark. But I really was uncomfortable with giving a third party app so much access to my emails. I know it’s probably more than fine but the knowledge that if they wanted to, they could read my emails etc., was just a bit unnerving for me. That was my understanding of all the research I did around it anyway. So back to stock mail app I went because the outlook app sucks too

Edited to add: I’m much more comfortable giving Apple that access than a random third party app

not got a leather one but silicone seems ok.. no marks from MagSafe use.. hand oil marks come off with a wet wipe and dry cloth buff
