The only pre-remorse I'm feeling is my partner's reaction.... I managed to sneak in the purchase of the 7 because it looked the same as the 6 🤣 I fear there is no disguising this beast!

While I'm not overly sporty I do enjoy my tech, but the serious thoughts actually boil down to wearing it i.e., with shirts. not the look, but the bulk of trying to look at it with cuffs on. Also even the current 45mm's get caught every time I try and put my backpack on 🤔
If you’re regularly catching your watch on your backpack it sounds like a tougher watch is in order to survive it catching and falling off your wrist! 😉

I get the feeling we're going to get a lot of buyers remorse in a week or so when people start using the ultras properly...
Never been much of a fan of the Apple Watch — I have tried and tried… but always turn back to my 1914 Silver Trench watch…

But what is a bit worrying is reading through the forums how people are going all out on credit.
There's a lot of future worry built in to some (not all!) people's impulse purchases.

But, heh! Live and let live I guess. As long as people think with their heads and not listen too much to Apple's Marketing.

🙂

The Dynamic Island knows all!

And same, I typically switch to my own music after Moyles is done. I've been listening to him for longer than I care to admit, always loved how he makes you feel like you're part of the gang.
Definitely, I've listened since about 2008. I switch to LBC at 10am!!

I wasn't sure whether to post here or on the other thread.

I have a Series 7 at the moment that I got with a data plan from EE. I'll have the Ultra here in a little bit. Does anyone know what the process is for moving the data plan from the old watch to the new watch? I know you can setup plans in the Watch app. but I don't want a new plan, just move the current across?

For those that have sold their old airpods to CEX, what do you need to include? (box, cable, etc?)

TIA!

I'm staying well away from the Ultra, although, hmmm maybe.... nope not getting, especially as the resale/trade in will be so bad. When everyone realises that they don't really go hiking, swimming and all the other outdoor activities, buyer remorse will happen throughout!!

Ha we listened to the micro budget those who have expensive taste now have better tax break!! only joking, I am only just on the middle threshold so the higher higher rate never affected me.

The watch is the only thing I can't really justify replacing until my S6 is either dead or cut out of WatchOS updates. The depreciation is such that for me it's a £500 hit every 2 years to get the SS version (I much prefer that finish) so on with my S6 I go!
Am still waiting on my SS series 3 to die! Its the only one I've had and TBH I don't really like the watch but spent so much on it and the straps including the SS milanese I feel I need to wear until it gives up the ghost....at which point I'll probably decide I do like it !

I guess if you are in the market for the SS LTE version of the series 8 then the Ultra is not much more, me I cheaped out and got the aluminum series 8 with a protective case for half the price.

Literally no PM stock coming up, what's going on? Been checking for the past few days starting at 6am throughout the day.

Can't really help with your question but wanted to say that I don't see the point in having a data plan on a Watch.

I had a data plan on my old S4 watch but found that 99.99% of the time, I always had my phone with me when also wearing the watch so the plan was a little pointless.

Now that I have a S7 watch (with no plan), I don't miss not having a data plan at all - the only thing it does is allows you take phone calls without your phone anyway, and realistically, who would even do that?!!

I use my watch to track running as well and even without a data plan, it can still track the route of your run, even when you do not carry your phone on your run (which I don't).

I wish they sold the SS without cellular, I've always had stainless but I never buy a data plan because it's so expensive and I would never use it. Good for some scenarios, but I can work around the issues and the EE data plan prices are ridiculous.

I’m currently on a train heading to Apple to pick up an Ultra. My main concern is wearing it when dressed up or with a suit in the office. What do you think?

Just got the AirPods and the fact you actually see your custom case on the graphic is cool as **** lol
